Runningman Festival Recap
2026/09/25
Welcome to the Peaceful Power Project, a podcast dedicated to supporting our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being through movement, mindfulness, meaningful conversations, and the experiences that remind us of our own peaceful power.
Today, I'm sharing my experience at the Runningman Festival.
Runningman is a three-day movement and wellness festival held at Kingston Downs in Rome, Georgia. Co-founded by Jesse Itzler and Devon Lévesque, it combines a race, wellness retreat, and festival through running, recovery experiences, speakers, yoga, breathwork, music, camping, and community. At the center of the weekend is an eight-hour, choose-your-own-distance event on a one-mile grass loop. Participants can run or walk anywhere from a 5K to a 50K, take breaks, and move at their own pace.
The weekend is built around three simple invitations: "Meet new people, try new things, and have fun conquering a big goal."
That is exactly what I set out to do. In this episode, I share how I discovered Runningman, why I decided to go, and my experience.

Peaceful Power Conversations with Michelle Schroff
2025/12/02
I am so grateful for this Peaceful Power Conversation with ultrarunner and creator Michelle Schroff (also known by many as @waddellrunninglady).
Michelle shares what matters most to her, the heart of her transformational running journey, and the evolving Why that continues to guide her forward.
We talk about the community that has formed around her, both in real life and online, and the meaningful connections she’s built along the way through the honest and authentic way she shares her life and experiences.
Our conversation moves through strength, resilience, and the joy she finds in running and nature.

Never Too Late to Start Running: Celebrating 5 Years of Change and Challenge
2025/10/20
Five years ago, I started running at 40 (and a half!), something I never expected to love. I reflect on how those first hesitant miles turned into a journey of growth and strength. Running helped my mind and opened my heart. As I celebrate five years on the run, I hope this story reminds you that it’s never too late to start moving toward yourself. The first step begins by taking the first step!
