Psalm 25. A reading from the Holy Bible.
2026/09/30
Psalm 25 is David’s prayer for guidance, forgiveness, protection, and deliverance. He lifts his soul to the Lord, acknowledges his sins and troubles, and trusts God’s mercy. It reminds us that we can bring both our failures and our needs before God while remaining willing to be taught.
These prayer points follow the movement of the psalm:
Trust and protection — verses 1–3: “Lord, I place my trust in You. Keep me from shame, and do not let my enemies triumph over me.”Guidance and instruction — verses 4–5: “Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.” Pray for God to direct your steps and teach you His truth.Mercy and forgiveness — verses 6–7, 11: “Remember Your mercy, Lord. Forgive my past sins and present iniquity according to Your lovingkindness.”Humility and obedience — verses 8–10: “Give me a humble, teachable heart that follows Your ways and keeps Your covenant.”Reverence and fellowship — verses 12–14: “Teach me to fear You and walk in close fellowship with You.” Here, fear means reverence for God.Relief from loneliness and distress — verses 15–18: “Turn toward me with mercy. Bring me out of my troubles, look upon my affliction, and forgive my sins.”Preservation and integrity — verses 19–21: “Protect my soul, deliver me, and help me walk in integrity while I wait upon You.”Prayer for God’s people — verse 22: David closes by praying beyond himself: “Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.” We can likewise intercede for God’s people in their distress. The central prayer: Lord, teach me, forgive me, and keep me as I trust and wait upon You.
A midnight prayer revisited

Midnight Prayer with Elder Michelle
The Word of God tells us that men ought always to pray and not to faint. Prayer is always appropriate.
Our prayers may be silent or spoken. They may be expressed through a song, a quiet meditation, or even through tears. Yes, tears. God understands our tears, our pain, and our suffering as we pour out our hearts before Him. In those sacred moments, we are communing with our Heavenly Father, and He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.
This episode is a revisitation of Midnight Prayer with Elder Michelle.
Join your faith with the faith of the woman of God as she prays. Prayer is eternal in its impact. Even now, God is still answering prayers that were prayed years ago, perhaps even the prayers of your grandmother. Because someone prayed for you, you can live with confident expectation of God’s blessings, healing, deliverance, strength, and victory.
Come, let’s pray.

A reading of the Psalms 1-7
There are times in our lives where we just need to sit still, be quiet, and just listen.
Don’t say a word . Just listen. In so doing , we hear so many things that we’d been missing , yet they were quietly speaking in our background. The problem: we were too busy, to bogged down with thoughts to hear, to listen , to receive.
Today, for your spiritual growth, edification, and nourishment, I invite you to pull away from all of the clamor and toil of life, and just listen
Listen to the Word of God, The Holy Bible.

Setting the record straight
2024/07/09
Modern society in so many ways is not unlike medieval societies of days long past. There was a time, the Bible speaks of it, that every man did whatever was right in their own lives. There were no rules , no laws , and consequently , no order. Those were the days before the God of all creation revealed Himself to man and began to call out a people, and sanctify a nation chosen unto Himself. Before that time, man basically did whatever he wanted to do . Adam’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden opened up the floodgates of sin and rebellion against God. His sin opened up the door for murder to enter into the history of the human race. And here we are today, looking an acting even more wicked than before the flood. It all started with Adam’s disobedience. It will end with the Rapture of the Church and the ultimate judgement of man as explained in the Book of Revelation, in the Holy Bible. This podcast episode sets the record straight for anyone who is wondering about Heaven, and who’s going there. Will you be in that number? I hope and pray that you will . It’s time to Set the record straight with Elder Michelle.❤️
The Five W’’s of Broadcast Journalism and how they might relate to your spiritual life
2024/07/01
In my academic pursuit of a degree in broadcast journalism, I learned the importance of gathering information for a news story. The emphasis focused on the the five w’s - purpose being to capture the whole story in the most concise and entertaining or dramatic form possible, using true facts , not speculation. The Goal: to inform the reader with reliable, factual infotmation that have they a full accountability of the fire, the accident, the act of violence etc. They got answers . They were not left wondering what, or where, or who. ******In our spirit life, by contrast and , to the chagrin of so many, we never get the whole story. Rather, we get bits and pieces at a time. As we act in faith, we get a little bit more and a little bit more. For those who don’t understand the faith walk this can be quite concerning. These anxious ones need to know all the details. They need to know all of the five w’s to their life story. Please be awakened to this reality: that’s not going to happen. God reveals these details on a “need to know” basis. So, can I say “Just Chill” and trust your Shepherd to lead you? Even though you may not know “where”,you know “Who”, and thats enough. Now listen to “The 5 w’s..,” by Coach Shelley aka Eld. Michelle. and May your soul be blessed!❤️

Coping with depression
2024/05/27
People are hurting. People are depressed, worried, troubled, grieving, and dying. If you’re not careful, the ubiquitous presence of each of these matters can and will infect you and pull you down into a pit of despair, anxiety, and hopelessness. As believers, let us never forget the hope that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us never forget the dynamic power of prayer. Let us never forget to reach out and touch someone who is hurting. Do it today. You just might save a soul on the brink of giving up.❤️ I reminded of the song that my grandmother used to sing: “Throw out the lifeline. Somebody is sinking. ““ Oh God, have mercy!
