According to PA Family council "Planned Parenthood – the abortion giant that has long been a big spender in national and statewide elective politics to promote its agenda – is now extending its tentacles to elections at the school board level. The idea of book bans in America is largely a misconception. While its true that some books have been challenged or removed from certain libraries or schools, this is not the same as a nationwide ban. A challenge is an attempt to remove or restrict materials based upon the objections of a person or group. A banning is the removal of those materials. Challenges do not simply involve a person expressing a point of view; rather, they are an attempt to remove material from the curriculum or library, thereby restricting the access of others. What some states and school districts are doing is restrict access of sexually explicit material to under aged children. Adults must protect children but it seems for some reason, some so called adults want to expose really small children to sexually explicit content. One of the reasons why parents send their children to government school (AKA Public School) is because they want them to be salt and light to their unbelieving friends in school. Not only is this an undue burden on very young and untrained minds but it is not even biblical. In this episode i interact with a paper I found at the Nehemiah Institute website (Nehemiahinstitute.com) titled "Just What is the Salt-and-Light Argument?" written by Jay Jusino. In it the author says "Separation from the essence and practice of the world is not possible for Christian children in public schools because that system exists as a fundamental building process that literally shapes a child’s very being. This is what education is supposed to do." The author goes on to say that Christian children cannot be educated by the same system they are supposed to produce light against. Your first, second, and third grader is equipped or even capable of hold his or her own against the onslaught of paganisim unlished on them in the public school environment. In this episode I am discussing the disaster that is currently happening in the State of Oregon. According to an article in The Atlantic "Three years ago, while the nation’s attention was on the 2020 presidential election, voters in Oregon took a dramatic step back from America’s long-running War on Drugs. By a 17-point margin, Oregonians approved Ballot Measure 110, which eliminated criminal penalties for possessing small amounts of any drug, including cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine." As any reasonable person can imagine this was a very bad idea. One that should not be tried anywhere else. According to G.K. Chesterton, "the most important fact about the subject of education is that there is no such thing. Education is not a subject and it does not deal in subjects. It is instead the transfer of a way of life." The Evangelical Christians in America must reclaim their understanding of education, its purpose and why it is important. It is due to our lack of understand that we have relied on a secular government to educate our children for so long. The Bible in 1 Chronicles 12:32 talks about a group of Israelite men, warriors in king David's army, who are also known as the "sons of Issachar". According the bible these men "understood the times and knew what Israel should do". During war you need a group like these men who understand the situation and what needs to be done in response. In this episode I will be going through commenting and reacting to a lecture that was given a few months ago at Dayspring Christian Academy​ titled "Progressive Education and its Roots". It is session five in their "Remember America" lecture series. I highly recomend it. To be honest I want every Christian minister and pastor to know this stuff. You will be in a better position to help your people as they navigate these waters for their children. I would argue that this is why Dayspring puts these lectures and speaker series together. I am convinced that if more Christians parents knew how things came to be the way they are today with regards to the education of children, they would be doing things differently. In this episode, I look give an example of how the Secular Progressive Education Establishment is intentionally destroying America from within. The main character of interest in this episode is a man named Howard Zinn. Zinn was according to Influence Watch " a professor of history at Boston University and a left-wing political activist who described himself as “something of an anarchist, something of a socialist” and “maybe a democratic socialist...He was a supporter of many so-called “New Left” causes, such as the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and the Black Panther party, and more conventional “old left” causes such as the Maoist Progressive Labor Party. 2 Zinn sympathized with the Communist Viet Cong’s effort to overthrow the government of South Vietnam, and was repeatedly an opponent of the use of military force by the United States...is best known for writing A People’s History of the United States, first published in 1980...Historians have challenged the book’s facts and misrepresentations on numerous fronts, such as his descriptions of the involvement of African Americans in World War II, the level of spying by American communists against the United States during the Cold War, and the severity of Allied strategic bombing during World War II"-https://www.influencewatch.org/person/howard-zinn/ Inspite all this, Zinn's book is taught as history in many public schools.
