J-Bunny's Music Hub Episode 91: Chant Macleod (One for the Road, ex-Three Pints Shy) 7-19-2026
2026/08/30
J-Bunny sits down on Zoom with Chant Macleod. They discuss their experiences seeing "Weird Al" Yankovic live on the Bigger and Weirder Tour, how Chant got involved in ren faires, how Three Pints Shy came together, being the rock stars of the faire, and why Chant wound up leaving the band. They also discuss how being invited to perform with Foxy Bard, Twig, and David Anthony morphed into a Three Pints Shy reunion, whether he has plans to perform with One for the Road in the future, and his planned performances at the Sparta NJ Renaissance Faire September 12th and 13th. J-Bunny and Chant end the interview talking about the band Bobaflex. In the outro after the interview, J-Bunny gives some life updates that will impact the show in the near term (but is hopefully not a long-term situation.) Podcast intro "Rock Intro 3" courtesy of audionautix.com. "Johnny Get Off the Goose" is from The Three Pints Shy album The Burlap album, and "Sing to the Heavens" is from the Three Pints Shy album Another Long Dangerous Year.  Both songs were included with the permission of Chant Macleod.

J-Bunny's Music Hub Episode 90: One for the Road (Tim Ott, David Anthony, Erin Bernardi, Robbie Taylor, David Mikofsky, Chant Macleod) 7-12-2026
2026/07/29
J-Bunny and Kacey (aka Lady Breena) sit down with the members of One for the Road at the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire.  They discuss the unfortunate passing of Three Pints Shy founder Jonathan Siregar just a few months after the band's final show at the Sparta NJ Renaissance faire, how One for the Road came to be, and what the future holds for this new project of old friends and bandmates.  They touch on why David Mikofsky rebranded to The Foxy Bard, Foxy and Twig's career as faire performers, and how that compares to the other members' involvement in faires.  Tim and Erin share how they started doing ren faires in the first place, and Tim corrects the origin story of Three Pints Shy.  Near the end of the show, Crossbones McCoy shows up to steal David Anthony to hawk their show Crossbones & Clyde Mayhem (with Music). Podcast intro "Rock Intro 3" courtesy of audionautix.com.  "Sing to the Heavens" is from the Three Pints Shy album A Another Long Dangerous Year, and "Play the Last Jig" is from the Three Pints Shy album The Burlap album.  Both songs were included with the permission of Three Pints Shy/One for the Road.
Ranking Tracks Episode 143: Luke Spiller
2026/07/28
You might not know the name Luke Spiller, but you've probably listened to him. He's the lead singer of the British band The Struts, who are one of my favorite current bands. He's also released a solo album and a few other tracks. One listen and you can clearly tell he's been inspired by Freddie Mercury. Take a listen to Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine
