Laws of Behavior Change + Beginner's Mindset
2026/10/06
Send us Fan Mail
Your habits are not a personality trait. They’re a system, and when your life gets full, that system either supports you or starts leaking stress into everything else. We start with a real, honest check-in on what it looks like to juggle big goals and still stay aligned, grounded, and kind to yourself when you’re tired or grumpy.
Then we get practical with behavior change using the framework from James Clear’s Atomic Habits. I break down the four laws of habit change in plain language: make it obvious (build a cue), make it attractive (create a craving with temptation bundling), make it easy (reduce friction and plan for what will get in the way), and make it satisfying (know your why and use rewards on purpose). If you’re trying to start working out, cook at home more, build a business, or create a consistent mindfulness practice, you’ll leave with simple habit strategies you can apply immediately.
We also flip the model to help you stop a habit that no longer serves you by making it invisible, unattractive, hard, and unsatisfying. To seal it all together, we talk about beginner mindset: choosing curiosity over certainty, staying present, lowering ego, and giving yourself permission to be imperfect while you learn. If your inner voice has been harsh lately, you’ll appreciate the reminder that self-love is not fluff, it’s fuel for sustainable change.
If this resonates, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s rebuilding their routines, and leave a five-star rating or review so more people can find the show.

Ask These Questions to Get Unstuck

Watching the leaves change is weirdly magical and a little dark if you think about it, and that’s exactly why it makes the perfect metaphor for growth. When a season shifts, we don’t get to pretend everything stays the same. So I’m using that energy to help you get honest about what you’re creating, what you’re avoiding, and what you’re ready to step into with more intention.
This week, I walk you through a simple mindset coaching framework built around five questions: What do you want? Why do you want it? What is getting in your way? Who are you being? How are you serving others? We talk about why clarity beats motivation, why we often chase outcomes when we’re really chasing a feeling, and why “it’s too expensive” is often a story we tell ourselves before we’ve even done the research. I also name the trap of duplicity, that moment when we say we want something and then immediately list the reasons we can’t have it, and how to shift from excuses into curiosity and action.
Then we go deeper into identity and self-awareness. I share a perspective on living awake versus living on autopilot, and how being present or getting ready to be ready can pull you out of that zombie-like loop. We finish by zooming out to meaning, because your goals land differently when they connect to service, contribution, and the people your life touches.
If you want a clearer plan, stronger confidence, and more aligned action, listen now, then subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review with the question you’re sitting with most.

Getting Ready to Be Ready
2026/09/21
Send us Fan Mail
Waiting feels responsible until you realize it’s just fear wearing a nicer outfit. Today we’re digging into a mindset and spiritual alignment tool I keep coming back to: getting ready to be ready. It’s the practice of preparing for what you want before you have proof, so when the opportunity shows up, it actually has somewhere to land.
We start with the real reason behind every goal: the feeling you believe you’ll have once you get the thing. That shift changes everything. When you know you’re chasing peace, freedom, joy, or confidence, you stop getting trapped by one rigid path and you start building momentum with what you can control right now. I also share how I think about spirituality across different languages and why I always invite you to take what sticks and leave the rest.
Then we get practical with three tools. We look at your environment and the signals your space and style send to your brain. We use identity language to expose limiting beliefs the moment they pop up. And we choose one tiny daily action that becomes proof, builds self-trust, and turns consistency into confidence. If you’re ready to stop talking yourself out of your next level, this one gives you a clean place to start.

Four Lessons From Four Years Of Marriage
2026/09/14
Send us Fan Mail
“Happily ever after” sounds cute until you’re living real life with another human and realizing that long term love is a daily decision, not a finish line. I’m celebrating four years of marriage and sharing the four lessons that have helped me and my husband build something that feels honest, grounded, and still fun. If you’ve ever wondered why relationships feel harder than you expected, this is for you.
We start with what I call “get cringe fast,” meaning get vulnerable fast. I talk about how clarity in dating and partnership can save you years of confusion, why knowing yourself is non negotiable, and how naming what you want (without forcing an outcome) creates true compatibility. If you’ve struggled with people pleasing, mixed signals, or staying quiet to keep the peace, you’ll hear a simpler path: tell the truth early and let alignment do the filtering.
Then we move into the long game: you will change and so will your partner. I share how to have grace for new interests, shifting habits, and the tiny day to day frictions that can turn into bigger stories if you don’t communicate. We also get practical about staying connected through intimacy and playfulness, from small daily rituals to dates that bring out your flirty, present, mindful self.
Finally, we talk about stress. Not the kind you seek out, but the kind life brings. When you’re truly on the same page, stress can become the training ground that strengthens your relationship, your self trust, and your leadership skills through better communication and repair.
If this resonates, subscribe for more mindset and relationship coaching tools, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

What Hiring Managers Wish Candidates Knew (and Vice Versa)
2026/09/07
Send us Fan Mail
Most interview advice is either painfully generic or weirdly performative. I wanted something you can actually use, whether you’re walking into a job interview as a candidate or sitting on the other side of the table as the hiring manager. So we break it down like a real process: how to prepare, how to communicate clearly, and how to make decisions you won’t regret three months later.
If you’re interviewing for a job, we talk about doing quick but meaningful company research, getting clear on why you want the role beyond a paycheck, and practicing the questions you know are coming. You’ll hear how to speak to your strengths without rambling, how to answer “areas of growth” with honest self-awareness (without the fake “I work too hard” answer), and how to handle the practical details that quietly influence outcomes like showing up early, dressing with intention, and setting up your virtual interview lighting and link ahead of time. We also get real about advocating for your needs, including pay range, scheduling, leadership style, and the kind of support you need to thrive.
If you’re hiring, we shift to what great interviewers do differently: build trust early, show up fully present, define what you’re actually looking for before you ask questions, and use body language as information without forgetting context. We also talk about noticing your biases before they drive the decision, and why building a team works best when you treat it like a puzzle where different strengths belong on purpose. Finally, we share why asking about someone’s goals outside of work can help you hire better and lead better.

Attention Audit
2026/08/31
Send us Fan Mail
Your life is already telling you what matters most and it’s doing it through your attention. If you’ve been feeling scattered, stuck, or quietly judging yourself for where you are, I’m sharing a simple mindfulness-based reset that brings you back to clarity fast.
I walk through two concise questions I use as a life coach to help clients build real self-awareness without spiraling: What are you giving your attention to? And what are you making it mean about you? We look at how your calendar can reveal your true priorities, and how your mental “background tabs” can be just as loud as your schedule. Work, kids, relationships, divorce, a career change, fitness, mental health, friendships, building a business, all of it comes with a story, and that story shapes your mindset more than the circumstance itself.
Then we get practical about mindset management: beliefs are thoughts you repeat, and those repeated sentences quietly drive your confidence, your choices, and your definition of success. Sometimes you’re even pursuing something positive while a limiting belief underneath is beating you up. I’ll show you how to notice that pattern with awareness without judgment, and how to rewrite the meaning so it actually supports spiritual alignment and authentic action. If you don’t like what you find, we keep it simple with one next best step.
Subscribe for more tools like this, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a five-star review if it helped you see yourself with more honesty and care.

Job Search Clarity
2026/08/24
Send us Fan Mail
Job searching can feel like a maze of titles, salary guesses, and “what if it’s worse than what I have now?” We slow that whole spiral down and rebuild your career change from the inside out. This week, I’m sharing the practical mindset shifts and simple job search tips I use with clients who feel stuck between staying put, switching companies, or even choosing between entrepreneurship and full-time work.
We start with the part most people skip: getting painfully clear on why you’re leaving. “Bad boss” and “I’m not having fun” are real, but they’re not actionable until you define them. From there, we map your skills and separate what you can do from what you actually want to monetize, so you stop chasing roles that drain you. Then I share one of my favorite strategies: search words, not job titles. The language in job postings tells you more about culture and fit than a generic title ever will, and it can open up options you didn’t know existed.
We also zoom out to lifestyle design: hours, commute, remote work, and what matters outside your job. If the perfect role isn’t available yet, we talk about choosing the next best stepping-stone job that moves you closer while keeping your confidence intact. And yes, we touch money in a grounded way: know your baseline budget, price the lifestyle you want, and build a salary target with purpose.

These Seven Questions Help You Hear Yourself Again
2026/08/17
Send us Fan Mail
What if the fastest way to feel more clear, calm, and confident isn’t another productivity hack, but a few brutally honest questions on paper? This week, I’m sharing a set of journal prompts you can use to check in with your mind, your heart, and the stories running your life.
We start with a big one: if you could blow up your life and start over with no consequences, what would you keep? From there, we move into identity and authenticity. I’ll walk you through prompts to describe your real personality (not the masked version), name what you’re already good at, and notice what you do when you procrastinate. Those patterns can be a window into what you need, what you’re craving, and what you’ve been ignoring, without turning it into self-judgment.
Then we go deeper with definitions. What does it mean to be organized, successful, loved, wealthy, or abundant, according to you? Many of us unknowingly live by definitions we inherited from family or culture, and that can keep us chasing approval instead of building a life that fits. We close with a vulnerable question that opens doors fast: what are you hoping for? If you want journaling prompts for self awareness, mindset shifts, and authentic goal setting, this one is for you.
If you want a safe space to do this kind of growth work, come join us for the next round of The Art of Magnetism.

What Are You Affirming?
2026/08/10
Send us Fan Mail
Your feelings are telling on your thoughts. If you’ve been doing “all the right things” on your health journey or personal growth path but still feel funky inside, it might be because of what you’re affirming without realizing it.
This week, I’m asking one question that cuts through the noise: what are you confirming about yourself on repeat? We start with a simple check-in you can do any morning, then we zoom out to the mindset basics that actually change your life: your thoughts shape your feelings, your feelings drive your actions, and your actions create your results. I share a list of common affirmations that sound positive and the ones that feel a little itchy, and I walk you through how to notice them with mindfulness and zero shame.
From there, we take it deeper with anxiety. “I’m anxious” can be true and still not serve you when you say it all day. I explain how your brain’s reticular activating system looks for evidence of what you repeat, and how that can amplify stress. We practice choosing a new target for your focus, like calm, organized, or even proud, so your identity starts working for you instead of against you.

Get What You Want (Six Steps)
2026/08/03
Send us Fan Mail
If you’ve ever been asked “What do you want?” and your mind goes blank, you’re not alone, and it’s usually not because you’re clueless. It’s often because you’ve trained yourself to believe you can’t have what you want, so naming it feels risky. We slow that moment down and show you how to rebuild desire, clarity, and trust in yourself without turning your current life into a problem.
We share our six-step framework for getting what you want, built from mindset coaching, spiritual alignment, and practical action. We start with honesty and move into real clarity: defining what “a loving marriage,” “a better job,” “confidence,” or “more money” actually means for you. We also connect the dots to neuroscience and the reticular activating system, because specificity changes what you notice, what you tolerate, and how you discern what is for you.
From there we talk openness, faith, and the part most people skip: showing up like it’s already done while still taking steps that make it possible. Then we tackle limiting beliefs head-on, including the “crab effect” that pulls you back right when you start gaining momentum, and how to rewrite those thoughts so you can keep moving.
If this helped, subscribe, share it with someone you love, and leave a five-star review so more people can find the show.

The Choice to Rejoice (Part Two): Why Joy Matters
2026/07/27
Send us Fan Mail
Complaining can feel like relief in the moment, but it comes with a hidden cost: it trains your brain to look for what’s wrong and makes it harder to create solutions. After coming back from a weekend conference high (and a little sleep-deprived), we slow down and get honest about what really gets in the way of joy, especially when you’re in a hard season, dealing with stress, or feeling stuck.
We walk through the “choice to rejoice” as a real-life gratitude practice, not a fluffy slogan. I talk about how your environment shapes your default thoughts, why workplace or friend-group negativity can pull you into the complaining loop, and how giving yourself grace is part of changing the pattern. Then we get concrete: what does joy look like in your life right now, and where are you already experiencing it even if your brain wants to skip past it?
We also dig into the neuroscience of gratitude and mindset management. Gratitude can support the decision-making part of your brain (your prefrontal cortex), calm stress reactivity (your amygdala), and boost feel-good chemistry like dopamine and serotonin. From there, we build a menu of simple, sustainable habits: journaling, writing thank you notes, doing a weekly “what went well” review, pausing with your morning coffee, giving thanks before meals, and even saying “thank you” when you pay a bill because you have the ability to cover it.
If you want more joy, momentum, and emotional steadiness, pick one practice and try it this week.

The Choice to Rejoice (Part One): Thank-You Cards
2026/07/20
Send us Fan Mail
Complaining can feel like “just venting,” but what if it’s quietly training your brain to look for problems, not possibilities? We get honest about the 50-50 nature of being human and why chasing constant happiness backfires. Instead, we practice mindfulness as awareness without judgment, using a simple metaphor: life as a party where emotions are offered, and you get to decide what you pick up and what you pass on.
Then we dig into the neuroscience and psychology of complaining and gratitude. I talk through how chronic complaining ramps up stress and can shrink your capacity for creative thinking, problem solving, and emotional regulation. We also cover the social side: how listening to long vent sessions can affect you, and how to set kind boundaries so you can be a safe space without burning out or building resentment.
From there, we flip the script with “the choice to rejoice,” a practical gratitude practice that goes beyond listing what’s good. We explore research on thank you letters, why recipients feel more warmth than we expect, and how consistent gratitude practice can support mental health over time. Your growth work is simple and powerful: write a thank you letter to your future self, plus journal prompts to identify what you’ve been complaining about and where compassion would change everything.

When Motivation Vanishes
2026/07/13
Send us Fan Mail
Motivation doesn’t disappear for no reason. Sometimes it’s buried under pressure, shame, resistance, or a story you’ve been repeating for years without realizing it.
We’re halfway through the year, and I’m giving you a gentle but direct reset for the days when you want the goal, you can picture the goal, but you still cannot get yourself to move. We start by taking the pressure off, because you are not behind and you are not broken. From there, we get honest about follow-through without using self-criticism as a “strategy,” then I walk you through five reminders I lean on when I feel unmotivated: reconnect with your why and check if it still fits, notice whether your body expands or contracts around the goal, and remember that we chase outcomes because of how we think we’ll feel once we have them.
You’ll also hear how subconscious stories quietly shape discipline, happiness, and results, plus a practical way to borrow confidence from the future version of you who already has what you want. We talk purpose, the power of removing “can’t” from your vocabulary, and the difference between doing it scared versus doing it resistant. The goal is aligned action and sustainable motivation, not forcing and burning out.

The Hidden Rules You Live By
2026/07/06
Send us Fan Mail
Some of the strongest forces in your life are the ones you never agreed to consciously: the “rules” you’re living by. They show up as quiet expectations about how hard you should work, what a good partner looks like, what your house should look like, what you’re “allowed” to eat, and even what you can wear out of the house. I start with a personal reflection on growing up in a military family with complicated feelings about the Fourth of July, because it’s a perfect example of how pride, pain, identity, and inherited beliefs can all coexist.
Then we get practical. I walk you through a mindfulness-based way to spot subconscious beliefs using the cloud metaphor: notice your thoughts without judgment so you can respond instead of react. From there, I share prompts you can use right away to list your rules for work, dating or marriage, home care, nutrition, and fashion and to ask the bigger question: do these rules serve the life you’re trying to build?
We also talk about where rules get sticky, like conflict. I share a personal rule I’m still rewriting, “I can’t disagree with adults,” and how it can cause shutdowns even when you’re capable and confident. To uncover your own limiting beliefs, I offer two powerful clues: where you feel resistance and where you feel duplicity, the “I want to, but I can’t because…” loop.

How To Mourn The Life You Thought You’d Have
2026/06/29
Send us Fan Mail
The hardest goodbyes aren’t always to people, they’re goodbyes to the version of life you were sure was coming.
If you’ve been telling yourself you should be “over it” by now, consider a different truth: your brain is doing update work, rewriting the future it had already started to expect, and that process often feels like grief.
We start with mindfulness as awareness without judgment, then get honest about what it’s like to be in a season of expansion while your doubt gets loud. From there, we dig into grieving the life you thought you’d have, the identity you built around a relationship or career, and why “I miss them” is sometimes really “I miss who I thought I was becoming.” You’ll hear a clear breakdown of the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) and why they don’t always happen in a neat order.
We also untangle a big misconception: acceptance is not approval. Resistance can keep you stuck in “this shouldn’t have happened,” while acceptance helps you reclaim your power with “this happened, and I love myself anyway.” You’ll leave with grounding reframes, body-based ways to move energy, and journal prompts to process the future that never came to be, so you can choose what you want next with real, aligned confidence.
If this hits home, subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a five-star rating so more people can find the show.
