She believes in talking openly about taboo topics and ensuring everyone feels comfortable to get support even for problems that may feel embarrassing to talk about. She worked extensively in the NHS before starting up her own private practice. She is a Mum of 2 and has learnt first hand the importance of care and support during the perinatal period. Kara is a clinical nutritionist and fertility awareness educator with a passion for women's health&wellbeing. Kirsten is a Registered Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist who focusses on a combination of Evidence-Based Medicine and Naturopathic Principles in order to achieve optimal health for herself and her clients. Together, the girls have their own podcast called 'Womxn Things', a health and wellness podcast discussing all things womxn. In this episode we are joined by Kelly McNulty, a PHD student from Northumbria University, investigating the effect of the menstrual cycle and hormonal contraceptive use on performance, recovery, and adaptation in sportswomen. Hame is a Consultant in Sexual & Reproductive Health and a BMS registered menopause specialist and trainer.  She originally trained as a GP and has now been working in Sexual & Reproductive Health and managing menopause for over 20 years.
