 WHAT IS HOPE VS CHRISTIAN HOPE - Most people understand hope as wishful thinking, as in "I hope something will happen." This is not what the Bible means by hope. The biblical definition of hope is "confident expectation.

God has your personal growth and development at heart. It is His purpose for you to grow and develop in every area of your life. To mature: spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Gods plan is to see you develop personally in character and personal disciplines of life.

Discipleship is about making a firm decision to do what JESUS would do, otherwise we will settle for less than God’s best and by so doing we grieve God. The decision to follow Jesus is not emotional response to the gospel but a definite act of the WILL. The decision that is not carried out in experience is of little value. Disciples are not to act in independence, but they are to be personally responsible to the Lord for their actions.

OJECTIVE – Spiritual growth and maturity GOAL – To make other disciples MEANING OF A DISCIPLE Every Christian is called to be a disciple of Jesus and this means they will follow Jesus and put the claims of Jesus first in their lives, regardless of the cost to themselves.. So a Christian disciple is a person who is determined to follow Jesus Christ, with the desire to learn from Him and live according to His example.
