Grant is an Ivor Novello and World Soundtrack Award winning Scottish composer who has created the soundtrack for video games that have sold in excess of 40 million copies. From “GoldenEye” to “Banjo-Kazooie”, “Viva Piñata” to “Donkey Kong”, “Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning” to “Civilization: Beyond Earth” and “Perfect Dark” to “Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse”. He’s worked on “Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle”, “Yooka Laylee”, “Dropzone”, “Ghostbusters”, and in 2020/21 “World of Warcraft: Shadowlands” and “Minecraft Dungeons”. He is also the composer of the infamous “Donkey Kong Rap” from the Nintendo video game “Donkey Kong 64”, which was featured in the recent “Super Mario Bros. movie”. He has also scored the feature film “The King’s Daughter” starring Pierce Brosnan and William Hurt, which won The People’s Vote at The World Soundtrack Awards Grant’s score for “Viva Piñata” was nominated by BAFTA in the Original Score category in its 2007 awards. Rocker-turned-engineer, Jason LaRocca, is formerly known as the singer/guitarist of acclaimed punk band, The Briggs. By the age of eighteen, the Los Angeles native had also become a full-fledged producer and recording engineer. Jason has recorded and mixed for such top recording artists as Jay-Z, CeeLo Green, Fiona Apple, Schoolboy Q and Serj Tankian of System of a Down. Based in Brisbane, Aiden Kenway is a professional music producer and successful YouTuber, with over 250k subscribers at time of recording. Crispin Hands is a Canadian composer and sound designer. He is an award winning audio creator who has been involved with video games for over 17 years. He started working on games in May 1995 at Electronic Arts. In April 2000, he left and started work for Relic Entertainment as an audio director. He stayed there for 6 years and then moved on to Pandemic Studios in March 2007. At the beginning of 2009, he worked for Electronic Arts again at their Black Box division. He left there before the end of the year and then worked for Rare, working on their Axis & Allies title. In March 2010, he worked for BigPark, also working on their Axis and Allies video games. Today, Crispin runs Lionhead Studios where he composes music and sound for all sorts of media including video games. He is currently composing the music for Minecraft Legends.

Dr Tim Summers researches and teaches music in Western popular culture at Royal Holloway University of London, with a particular focus on music for film, television and video games. His books include Understanding Video Game Music, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – A Game Score Companion and The Cambridge Companion to Video Game Music. He edits the Journal of Sound and Music in Games for University of California Press. The main recurring theme of his research is an attempt to understand the musical experiences and educations that mass media provide for the huge audiences they address.
