I am joined this week by Russell Butler. Russell is the founder of iVentiv, based in Kenilworth. iVentiv offers learning and networking events for senior executives. Founded in 2008 as a response to what he saw as an inadequate ‘sit and listen’ conference format that didn’t allow people to truly learn and exchange ideas. Instead, iVentiv’s unique format does away with formal talks in favour of interactive sessions where every participant is a speaker, allowing event attendees to take away new ideas that they can apply to their business in an actionable way. Starting as a one man band, the business now employs a full team and runs events attended by most of the world’s biggest companies. From its beginnings in Warwickshire, iVentiv has hosted events in 44 countries, for more than 1500 senior executives at 845 companies. Since the pandemic, the company has pivoted quickly and successfully into Virtual Events. iVentiv’s 200th event will take place at the start of 2022. Dale is a fellow Rugbiean, who is a confidence coach for students with an ambition to impact over 1 million students worldwide. He had spoke in Parliament on the issues surrounding, mental health, low self-esteem and a confidence crisis in schools, Dale has raised awareness of this need in schools. Five Star Theatre now produces regular professional productions, including pantomimes, children’s tours and various one-nighter concerts, alongside a number of partner venues.
