How Changing My Mindset Changed Me
2026/08/15
There was a time in my life when I thought success was only about getting the right opportunity. I thought someone had to notice me, open a door for me, or give me a chance before things could change.
But I learned something powerful: before your life changes, your mindset has to change.
Stop Waiting
2026/08/11
Some people are watching and waiting for your downfall.
Waiting for you to fail. Waiting for you to give up. Waiting for the opportunity to say, “I told you so.”
But while they are watching, someone else is watching too.
Someone is watching your consistency. Someone is watching your growth. Someone is watching what you're building.
And they aren't waiting for you to fail.
They're waiting for the right moment to collaborate with you.
That's why you can't afford to spend your time worrying about who's watching.
Keep building.
Keep showing up.
Keep becoming.
Because you never know who is watching you today—not to pull you down, but to ask you tomorrow:
“How can we build together?”

Parent and Children Round Table Featuring Michelle Udejiofor
2026/07/11
WHAT THIS EPISODE IS ABOUT
Ever wondered what your kids actually think when you ask them to do chores? Or why they sometimes just shut down when you're talking to them? In this episode, we have young Mitchell and her dad to have an honest, unfiltered conversation about what children really need from their parents. It's raw, it's real, and it might just change how you approach your next "please go wash the dishes" moment.
THE BIG QUESTIONS & WHAT MITCHELL HAD TO SAY
"If you could teach every parent one thing, what would it be?"
Mitchell's answer was simple but powerful — let your kids breathe before loading them with tasks. She explained that when children are overstimulated (basically stressed, mentally drained, or just not in the right headspace), asking them to do chores is almost guaranteed to get you eye rolls and grumbling.
But when kids feel rested and motivated, they'll actually want to help. They'll do it willingly, maybe even cheerfully. It's all about timing.
Dad's honest response? He gets it, but he raised the real parenting struggle: "When exactly will my child do things without being told?" Because waiting for the perfect motivated moment doesn't always work when the dishes are piling up.
Mitchell kept it real: sometimes kids are randomly motivated and will just do things on their own. Other times? Yeah, they need a nudge. She also pointed out that kids understand consequences — if they skip chores today, they know it'll catch up with them tomorrow.
"What is one thing adults do that makes children feel unheard?"
This one hit different. Mitchell said that when kids are being hyper or talking fast or moving around a lot, parents tend to shut them down — telling them to sit still, be quiet, stay in one place. And while parents might just be trying to keep things calm, the message the child receives is: "I shouldn't talk. My voice doesn't matter."
That's a big deal. And it's something many of us probably do without even realising it.
KEY TAKEAWAYS FOR PARENTS
- Read the room before giving instructions. If your child looks drained or overwhelmed, give them a moment to recharge. You'll get better cooperation when they're in a better headspace.
- Motivation comes and goes — and that's normal. Kids won't always be self-starters. Sometimes they need reminders, and that's okay.
- Be careful how you calm them down. There's a difference between guiding energy and silencing a child. When we constantly shush or restrict them during high-energy moments, they may learn to stop expressing themselves altogether.
- Have these conversations with your kids. You might be surprised by how much they understand about themselves and what they need from you.
STANDOUT QUOTES
"Perhaps let them rest their mind even before asking them to do chores. Because usually, if they're very overstimulated and you ask them to do chores, they'll grumble, they will not feel like doing it." — Mitchell
"That's my challenge as a parent. When will there be the time when they will do it without being told?" — Mr. Chikudi Christian Udejo
"The parents might shut them trying to make them stay in one place and then they might feel like they shouldn't really be talking much." — Mitchell
Stay tuned — the conversation continues!
Delay is Truly not Denial

Delay is truly not denial. Delay does not mean you are disqualified.
It is 2026

👏 Applause is nice
But it’s not your fuel.
Your fuel is:
Your purpose
Your vision
Your resilience
Your “I’m not done yet” spirit
MARRIAGE IS WHAT THEY CALL IT BUT IS IT...?
2026/01/22
Marriage is not a reward for beauty.
And it’s not a race against age.
Deadlines don’t sustain relationships.
Assets don’t hold homes together.
And society’s applause fades very quickly in real life.
If you’re listening to this early morning gist, pause for a moment.
Ask yourself:
Am I choosing peace or pressure?
Am I marrying love or meeting expectations?
Am I running towards something… or away from being judged?
Because life has a way of humbling rushed decisions.
And sometimes, the person you overlook today
Is the stability you cry for tomorrow.
☕
That’s the gist.
My Story of Resilence Pt4| I Stopped Fighting and Start Showing Up
2026/01/21
When I look at my story now, I realise something deeply:
God didn’t ask me to have everything figured out.
He only asked me to show up.
I stopped fighting life.
I stopped demanding answers before obedience.
I showed up—with fear, with boxes, with faith.
And God met me there.
If you’re listening and standing at the edge of uncertainty,
Please hear this:
You don’t need to know how.
You don’t need to know who.
You don’t need to know when.
Just show up.
God has never failed.
And He won’t start with you.
Time and Rushing
2026/01/20
You don’t have to hurry your life to prove you’re doing well.
You don’t need to explain your pace to anyone.
If you’re listening to this and you feel behind, hear this:
You’re not late.
You’re just moving at the speed your life needs right now.
And that’s okay.

My Story of Resilence...pt3
2026/01/18
Looking back now, I understand something clearly:
Not everyone who loves you will understand your dreams.
Some people prepare you for the life they know.
Others are born to chase the life they imagine.
If you’re listening and people are telling you,
“This is not possible,”
Please pause and listen to yourself.
Sometimes, your future speaks to you before it makes sense to anyone else.
And that quiet knowing—
That stubborn belief—
Is often where resilience begins.
