The turn of the year brings a turn of fortunes for English cricket as we discuss the Great Escape at Sydney, including Jonny Bairstow's sensational century, and the Return of the Khawaja. The Full Tossers annual cricketing awards ceremony is back. We kick-off the new year by looking back on the good, the bad, and the ugly of the 2021 international cricket season.  From the highlights to the lowlights, we have deserved winners from across a range of categories that the BAFTA red carpet would be envious of.  If you're here for an Ashes debrief, try The Grade Cricket instead. We try and banish the demons from our day/night thrashing in Adelaide, searching for some morsels of comfort amidst the debris of the Ashes. However, it doesn't stop excitement for the Boxing Day test reaching fever pitch, with Full Tossers putting together a festive wish list for the England side to rescue respectability in the series.  As ever, we're keeping up with The Asking Rate, testing our powers of recall for previous cricketing incarnations of Sports Personality of the Year. It's all on this week's agenda before we're joined by Dan Norcross from TMS in a hilarious interview that covers what to eat when pulling an Ashes all-nighter, the origins of Test Match Sofa, and the worst Christmas presents he's ever received. We can't wait to get him to the Gabba. 

We exercise the demons of Australia winning the T20 World Cup, round-up the tournament as a whole, and pick our combined team of the tournament. As ever, we're back with Asking Rate with the most sixes hit in IT20s as the latest brain teaser for Sam and George. 

We preview England's semi-final with the Black Caps, with all the fate-tempting arrogance and bombast that will likely come back to bite us in the bum. However, we're saved by a match-winning contribution from The Cricketer journalist Nick Friend to take us through the data takeover of the modern game, exploring behind the scenes of associate cricket, and the brilliant work of the ACE Programme led by Ebony Rainford-Brent.  Tuck in you hungry badgers, it's a feast of cricketing nourishment!

After a brief summer hiatus, Full Tossers is back and it's bigger than ever.
