It's ALL About Jesus | Matthew 21:23-46 | Dillon Neely
2026/09/20
In this message, Pastor Dillon Neely continues our series Book of Matthew: King of the Kingdom with a powerful look at Matthew chapter 21. Jesus enters Jerusalem and has a direct confrontation with the religious leaders. Pastor Dillon reminds us that Jesus didn't come just as a friend or a good teacher — He came as King. And where the King is, His Kingdom comes. In Matthew 21:23-46, Jesus tells two parables that still challenge us today: 1. The Parable of the Two Sons (Matthew 21:28-32) God isn't looking for just words, He's looking for a changed heart that leads to obedience. Religious activity can't save us — only surrender to Jesus can. 2. The Parable of the Tenants & The Cornerstone (Matthew 21:33-46) God has entrusted us with so much, and He desires fruit from our lives. Jesus is the cornerstone — we can either build our lives on Him, or stumble over Him, but we can't ignore Him. The big question from this message: Is Jesus just riding shotgun in your life, or is He in the driver's seat?
There is Only One Throne, Matthew 21:1-22, Dillon Neely.

TRUE GREATNESS | Matthew 20:20-34 | Dan Evans
2026/09/06
What does it really mean to be great in God's Kingdom? In this powerful message, Pastor Dan Evans continues our sermon series Book of Matthew: People of the Kingdom with a sermon titled "True Greatness" from Matthew Chapter 20:20-34. As Jesus heads to Jerusalem to give His life on the cross, His disciples still think He's about to establish an earthly kingdom. Right after Jesus predicts His death for the third time, the mother of James and John asks for seats of honor for her sons. Jesus uses this moment to flip our definition of greatness upside down. This sermon will challenge you to stop striving for position and start living a life of service, just like Jesus.
The Last Shall Be First | Matthew 20:1-19 | Dillon Neely
2026/08/30
Have you ever felt like God isn't fair? In this powerful message from our Book of Matthew: People of the Kingdom series, Pastor Dillon Neely unpacks one of Jesus' most provocative parables — the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard from Matthew 20:1-16. Jesus shows us that the Kingdom of Heaven doesn't operate on merit, but on mercy. You can't earn it. You can only receive it. If you've been following Jesus for decades or if you're hearing the Gospel for the first time, this message will challenge your view of fairness, deepen your understanding of grace, and invite you to receive the free gift of salvation.
The Greater Treasure | Matthew 19:16-30
2026/08/23
In Matthew 19:13-30, Jesus shows us who truly belongs in the Kingdom of Heaven. In this powerful message, Pastor Dillon Neely continues our sermon series "Book of Matthew: People of the Kingdom" by contrasting two kinds of people: dependent little children and the self-sufficient rich young ruler. Why does Jesus say "to such belongs the kingdom of heaven"? And why did the rich young ruler walk away sorrowful? This sermon unpacks what it really means to enter the Kingdom — not by earning, achieving, or holding on to what we have, but by coming to Jesus with empty hands and complete dependence.
Marriage, Divorce & Singleness | Matthew 19:1-12 | Dillon Neely
2026/08/16
What does Jesus actually teach about marriage, singleness, and divorce? In this powerful message from Matthew 19, Pastor Dillon Neely continues our sermon series "Book of Matthew: People of the Kingdom" and tackles one of the most personal and misunderstood topics in Scripture. Everyone has been impacted by divorce in some way - whether personally, in family, or through friends. This sermon doesn't shy away from what Jesus says, but shows how the Gospel offers grace, healing, forgiveness, and restoration for every person, married or single. Pastor Dillon walks verse-by-verse through Matthew 19:1-12 to unpack God's original design for marriage as a lifelong covenant, why Jesus allows for divorce, what it means to live with single-minded devotion to Jesus in singleness, and how Christ can resurrect even a cold, dead marriage.
Kingdom Confrontation, Church Discipline and Forgiveness | Matthew 18:15-35 | Dillon Neely
2026/08/10
What do you do when a Christian brother or sister sins against you? In this powerful message from Matthew 18, Lead Pastor Dillon Neely continues our series Book of Matthew: People of the Kingdom with Jesus' greatest teaching on Christian community, conflict, and forgiveness. This is not about venting, gossip, or church-hopping. Jesus gives us a clear, loving process to rescue people from sin and restore relationships: go directly to them, take one or two others, tell it to the church, and always pursue reconciliation. If you've ever struggled with unforgiveness, gossip, bitterness, or difficult conversations in marriage, family, or small group, this message is for you.
God's Care for His Kids | Matthew-18:1-14, 19:13-15 | Dillion Neely
2026/08/02
What does it really mean to be great in the Kingdom of Heaven? Jesus flips our definition of greatness completely upside down. In this message, Lead Pastor Dillion Neely kicks off our brand new sermon series Book of Matthew: People of the Kingdom with a foundational teaching from Matthew 18:1-14, 19:13-15. After Peter's confession and the Mount of Transfiguration, the disciples ask Jesus one question: "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" Jesus answers by calling a child into the middle of them and saying, "Unless you humble yourself like this child, you will never enter the kingdom." This is the greatest discourse in Scripture on Christian community. Christianity isn't just a vertical relationship with God — it has horizontal implications for how we live with each other. If you've ever struggled with pride, comparison, secret sin, or wondering how to actually live out your faith with other people, this message is for you.
A Different Kind of Kingdom | Matthew 17:14-27 | Damion Cooper
2026/07/26
There are only TWO kingdoms in this world — the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdom of darkness. Which one are you living in? In this powerful message, Pastor Damion Cooper continues our sermon series Book of Matthew: Reality of the Kingdom with a message titled "A Different Kind of Kingdom" from Matthew 17:14-27. After coming down from the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus encounters a desperate father, powerless disciples, and a broken boy — revealing what it really takes to live in the reality of God's Kingdom. This is not Chiefs Kingdom, this is the KINGDOM that has all authority, all power, and moves when we speak the name of Jesus. If you've been battling doubt, spiritual warfare, or feeling powerless in your faith, this message will reignite your boldness and remind you that faith the size of a mustard seed moves mountains.
The Transfiguration | Matthew 17:1-13 | Dillon Neely
2026/07/20
What happened on the Mount of Transfiguration? In Matthew 17:1-13, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain and reveals His true glory - His face shining like the sun, His clothes white as light. Pastor Dillon Neely continues our sermon series Book of Matthew: Reality of the Kingdom with a powerful look at the reality that Jesus is real, His Kingdom is real, and His glory transforms everything. In this message, you’ll discover: > Why Jesus is the greater Moses and the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets > What the Transfiguration reveals about the true identity of Jesus Christ > Why God the Father said "This is my beloved Son... listen to Him"

The Real Jesus | Matthew 16:1-20 | Mike Sandusky
2026/07/05
Join Mike Sandusky as he continues our sermon series "Book of Matthew: Reality of the Kingdom." In Matthew 16:1-20, we confront two critical questions: How do we see Jesus for who He really is? and Do we actually live like He’s as powerful as He says He is? From the Pharisees demanding a sign, to the disciples forgetting the loaves, to Peter’s confession at Caesarea Philippi — this passage shows us the danger of missing Jesus when He’s right in front of us, and the life-changing reality when God opens our eyes. --- SUBSCRIBE and get the latest messages: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVIzzCy3Z9Zsk0GwAH-yJ7g?sub_confirmation=1 Watch this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5De6-FwIKq4&t=1s To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people click here: http://kingschurchkc.com/give We are a movement for all people to find and follow Jesus Christ. —— Stay Connected Website: www.kingschurchkc.com Kings Church Facebook: Facebook.com/kingschurchkc Kings Church Instagram: Instagram.com/kingschurchkc #kingschurch #faith #Christianity #kansascity #onlinechurch #churchonline #hope #churchesinkansascity

Empty Religion | Matthew 15:1-20 | Dan Evans
2026/06/21
Just as Jesus taught His disciples to avoid honoring religious traditions of their day as holy, we are to be careful with our modern day church traditions. We must honor God's word alone as holy, understanding that the traditions at King's and other churches have value, but are not sacred in the same sense as the unchangeable scriptures.
