The Danish deception (dating in your 20s is ghetto)
2026/02/05
This episode we’re unpacking the Danish Deception and the red flags we saw, ignored, and sometimes even defended. We get into dating in our 20s, emotional availability (or the lack of it), and how social media, Hinge, and Tinder have completely changed the way people show up. From curated feeds to confusing intentions, we talk about what we’ve experienced trying to date in a generation that loves access but avoids accountability. Dating in your 20s is ghetto, healing is loud, and discernment is learned the hard way. If you’ve ever overlooked the signs or questioned your standards, this episode will feel way too familiar.
Comparison is the thief of joy
2026/01/29
Comparison really will steal your joy if you let it. In this episode, we get real about social media and the highlight reels we’re constantly consuming. People post what they want you to see, but the struggles, delays, and silent battles stay behind closed doors.
We also talk about starting in the same space as others and then watching them hit milestones you thought would be yours by now. The tension of feeling happy for them while quietly wondering, “Why not me?”
We end with a reminder you might need to hear: your path is yours. Your timing is not behind, it’s just different. Other people’s wins are not your losses. Let them be proof, motivation, and fuel for what’s still coming.

Why Break Ups Hit Harder As An Adult
2026/01/22
Breakups hit different as an adult. In this episode, Shaneé and Des unpack why ending a relationship hurts more as we get older, from shared routines and future plans to emotional investment and timing. We talk about grieving what could’ve been, navigating healing while still handling real life, and why adult breakups aren’t just about losing a person but losing a version of yourself too. This conversation is for anyone learning how to let go while still moving forward.
Faith, spirituality and questioning God
2026/01/15
Faith isn’t always quiet or easy. In this episode, Shaneé and Des have an honest conversation about faithful spirituality, what it looks like to believe while still questioning God, and navigating moments of doubt without losing faith. We talk about the tension between trust and confusion, how spirituality evolves, and why asking hard questions doesn’t mean you’re walking away from God. This episode is for anyone who loves God but has questions they’re still praying through.
Growing Pains
2026/01/07
In Growing Pains, Shaneé and Des have an honest conversation about what it really looks like to navigate life in your 20s. This episode dives into the truths behind growing up that people don’t always talk about. The discomfort, the loneliness, the hard lessons, and the moments that force you to sit with yourself. They reflect on their own experiences and the realization that turning 25 and having a fully developed frontal lobe doesn’t suddenly make life easier or more fun. Growth wasn’t glitz and glam. It was uncomfortable, challenging, and at times hard to accept.
Shaneé and Des talk about processing change, learning how to move through uncertainty, and understanding that growth doesn’t always feel good in the moment. This episode is a reminder that transitions don’t mean you’re failing, feeling lost doesn’t mean you’re behind, and growth looks different for everyone. If you’re in a season of becoming, figuring things out, or learning as you go, you’re not alone. You’re still doing better than you think.
