Week Three
2026/09/27
This week at Rescue House Church, our guest speaker reminds us that following Jesus isn’t just about the moment we are saved—it’s about continuing to live our lives rooted and built up in Him.
We look at three practical areas of our lives that reflect who we are becoming in Christ: how we walk, how we talk, and how we think. Because in Christ, the old is gone and the new has come.
We don’t fight for victory—we fight from victory. As we grow deeper in our faith, may our lives, our words, and our thoughts reflect the transformation Jesus is doing within us.
Week Two
2026/09/20
What role does the Bible really play in our everyday lives?
In Week 2 of The Holy Bible, Pastor Matt shares four powerful pictures of how God’s Word works in our lives: a mirror that reveals, a lamp that directs, a sword that protects, and a ladder that elevates.
The Bible isn’t simply a book we own or occasionally read. It is God-breathed, alive and active, and meant to shape the way we think, live, and follow Jesus.
The question isn’t just, “Do you have a Bible?” It’s “Does the Bible have you?”
Week One
2026/09/13
The Bible isn’t just another book—it’s the living Word of God. In Week 1 of The Holy Bible, Pastor Matt challenges us to love the Word, learn the Word, and live the Word. Discover why Scripture can be trusted, why it deserves a central place in our lives, and how God’s Word equips us to live with wisdom, faith, and purpose.
Week Eight
2026/09/06
What kind of soil is your heart?
In this message, Pastor Derick walks through Jesus’ Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13 and challenges us to take responsibility for our discipleship. God has given us the seed—His Word—but we have to cultivate the soil.
Are we simply hearing the Word, or are we allowing it to take root, transform us, and produce fruit through our lives?
Week Six
2026/08/23
In this message, Pastor Matt continues our There Is MORE series with a powerful reminder of what the Church was created to be.
The Church is more than a building—it’s a gathering, a mission, and a body. We were created to gather together, carry the message of Jesus into the world, and use what God has given each of us to make a difference.
You have a place. You have a purpose. You are needed.
As we look toward all that God has ahead for Rescue House, let’s continue to believe that there is MORE for His Church!
Week Five
2026/08/16
There is MORE for your purpose!
God created you on purpose, for a purpose. In this message, Pastor Matt shares how we discover what God has placed inside of us and use our passions, spiritual gifts, and opportunities to make a Kingdom impact.
Your purpose isn’t something you invent—it’s something you discover in God.
Purpose + Passion = Kingdom Impact
Week Four
2026/08/09
Pastor Matt shares four biblical keys to building healthier, Christ-centered relationships:
• Find Godly people
• Handle conflict God's way
• Lead with love
• Keep Jesus at the center
No matter where your relationships are today, God has more when you follow His way.
Week Three
2026/08/02
God wants more for your finances, not so money can become your master, but so you can experience freedom and use what He has given you for His purposes.
In this message, discover five biblical principles for financial freedom: budget intentionally, avoid debt, build wise relationships, save and invest, and live generously.
Money will not be my master. Money serves me as I serve God.
"You cannot serve both God and money." — Matthew 6:24
Week Five
2026/07/12
Can you be both humble and confident? Jesus shows us the answer is yes.
In this message, we discover that biblical confidence isn't rooted in ourselves, it's rooted in Christ. True humility isn't thinking less of yourself; it's thinking of yourself less.
Learn how to walk in the same humble confidence that Jesus modeled, using your God-given gifts to glorify Him while keeping your heart surrendered.
Walk confidently in who God created you to be, and humbly point every bit of the glory back to Jesus.
"Our qualification comes from God." - 2 Corinthians 3:5
Week Four
2026/07/05
Life doesn't always make sense in the moment. The pain, the waiting, the pruning, and the storms can leave us questioning what God is doing. But what if God is accomplishing something your perspective can't yet see?
In this message, we'll discover that God is working in you, walking with you, and working for you, even in life's hardest seasons. His purpose is always greater than your present perspective.
Don't ask, "Why is this happening?" Ask, "God, what are You producing?"
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28
Week Three
2026/06/28
In a world filled with endless noise, opinions, and distractions, Jesus offers a better way: Watch and Pray.
Through Jesus' time in the Garden of Gethsemane, we discover that true spiritual strength isn't found in reacting emotionally, it's found in surrendering completely to God. This message challenges us to stay awake, seek God's voice above the noise, and pray until His peace and purpose shape our hearts.
Don't let culture form your response. Let Christ transform your heart.
"Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." — Mark 14:38
Week Two
2026/06/21
Your past doesn't have to determine your future. Through the story of King Josiah, we discover that even if you didn't inherit a godly legacy, you can start one.
This message is a challenge to lead with courage, pursue God wholeheartedly, and build a faith that transforms generations. Revival doesn't begin with a movement, it begins with one person choosing obedience.
You may not have received the legacy you wanted, but by God's grace, you can create the legacy your family needs.
"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." — Joshua 24:15
Week One
2026/06/14
We're all searching for rest—through vacations, distractions, busyness, or a fresh start. But the kind of weariness we carry in our souls can't be fixed by a nap or a gateway. In this message, we discover that biblical rest isn't about doing less, it's about trusting more.
Through the stories of Noah, Israel, and the finished work of Jesus, we'll learn that true Sabbath is a heart at peace because it fully trusts God.
Rest is surrender. Rest is trust. Rest is believing that Christ is enough.
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You." — Isaiah 26:3
Week Nine - Jesus Remains
2026/06/07
When Mary stood at the empty tomb, she thought Jesus was gone. But the resurrection revealed a powerful truth: Jesus remains.
In this message, we explore the promise of the Holy Spirit—the presence of God with us and in us. Discover how the Holy Spirit searches, sanctifies, strengthens, speaks, seals, and sends believers to live with purpose and confidence. No matter what season you're facing, you're not alone. Jesus remains with you through the power of His Spirit.
Week Five - Jesus Serves
2026/05/10
What if serving others is one of the clearest ways we reveal Jesus to the world?
In this message, Pastor Matt reminds us that faith was never meant to stay passive. Jesus didn’t come to be served — He came to serve — and He calls us to do the same. Through scripture and practical encouragement, this message challenges us to move beyond belief alone and live out a faith that actively loves, serves, and reflects the heart of Jesus.
No matter where you are in your journey, this message will encourage you to see serving not as insignificant… but as Kingdom impact.
