3 weeks ago, God reminded me about my habits before: Tuesday Prayer and Bible Study on the Monday, 3 days before my 40th Birthday. I was reluctant and had so many reasons not to. Since February 5, my last day at work to heal from my Psoriasis, I haven't had this urge so despite my doubts, my not-in-top shape health, my upcoming birthday and certificate of professional education finals, I obeyed, with apprehensions. "What now, Lord?" was in my mind the whole time. On the 1st day, God floored me because of the message from the prayer and the topic of the Bible Study. They had just started on the 1st Lesson of Isaiah and the word "Here Am I. Send Me!" made me teary-eyed. It wasn't a random call. I had to be there. It's been 3 Tuesdays since and to be honest, I didn't really want to write or talk about it until this 3AM moment which opened with just me reading the lesson commentary.

“Your presentation should only be 3 minutes.” Easy… unless you’re the kind of person who always has “one more thing to say.” 😅 This is the original 8-minute recording of my DPE 105 assignment before I spent what felt like forever trimming it down to meet the 3-minute requirement. Somewhere between 8:14 → 5:14 → 3:17, I realized the assignment wasn’t just about delivering a presentation. It was about learning that good communication isn’t measured by how much we say, but by how clearly we say it. So here’s the version that never made the classroom—the thoughts, examples, and reflections that were left on the editing room floor. If you’ve ever stared at a word count, cut your favorite paragraph, or whispered, “Just one more sentence…” then this episode is for you. And yes… I finally learned that: “Ang lisod diay sa assignment dili ang research. Ang lisod kay pagmubo sa tabi kung tabian man ka.” 😂 Thanks for listening to this little behind-the-scenes moment in my journey to becoming a teacher. Sometimes the versions that never make the cut still have a story worth telling. ❤️

Work is crazy but God is so goood!

On my 2nd day of working from the office even though I am already in a project and is allowed to work from home. However, my work needs focus. It’s hard to focus when I am at the condo with my 2 girls. There’s no space. I also feel guilty and full of resentment why we can’t afford to live on a single income. But God reminded me how blessed I am for our Godsend helpers. When most people are finding it hard to find trustworthy ones, here I am having the 2 best ones. Thank you, Jesus!

Mom guilt because I lashed out when telling her the house help needs to prepare her for school.

Since my last podcast, here are the milestones: Anyana was baptized. Unyara started kindergarten at CIC Mandaue. We had a low key celebration of my 37th birthday. Hurray!

We survived without a househelp for 9 months from May 2022 until February 2023. However because of my 2nd pregnancy and our 1st's schooling, we thought we need a backup. So last Feb 2023, we hired a help which lasted for 3 months only. Let her go because of cash advances and lying. We hired another help a month after in June 2023 which lasted 2 weeks only. Let her go because of cash advances and always late. In July, we hired another help again which lasted only a week. She went home because she missed her family. :(

On my 34th week of pregnancy and the last week at work. Starting June 26, I will be on maternity leave as this time, we are aiming for Anyana to come out at week 37, starting July 7!

Most expected a rainy Thursday and maybe a cancelled Family Day due to "Paeng". In faith and in support to my daughter, we push through with checking in at the resort the night before when the rain subsides. God granted us a miracle, there was no rain on Thuraday! It's very sunny. Yay! Thanks, Jesus!!!
