We’ve created The Try-Outs as a way of experiencing fitness spaces and activities that are new to us - literally trying them out and reporting back to you! We went to Croywall, an indoor climbing space in South London. Tune in to hear our experience! Along with her numerous other achievement, she also became the first woman to win successive Grand Slam singles titles since Serena Williams in 2015. Recently, Naomi has faced criticism due to her withdrawal from the French Open, citing struggles with anxiety and depression. We aim to look at running from a scientific point of view, from muscle groups and tendons, to form and function, so we can get the best out of our running. Inspo of the Week: Mirna or ‘the mirnavator’ as she is commonly known is a singer, author, blogger, teacher and ultra runner who advocates for people in the running community who do not fit the stereotypical runner body type. Mirna was the National Geographic 2018 Adventurer of the Year. In 2017, Mirna’s book, A beautiful work in progress was published, it’s a memoir told with honesty, love and humour, an all around good read.
