Podcast covers the story "BCSD levy meeting attracts small crowd" from the Feb. 23 edition of the Herald. On March 14, the Boundary County School District is requesting a renewal of the existing levy of $2.4 million annually for two years and will be used to maintain the current level of education and services for students such as extra/co-curricular activities, travel, maintenance, security, and staff pay. The levy rate is $105 per $100,000 of assessed property values after the $150,000 Homeowner Exemption is added.
