Episode 393: Giants & Cowboys Make Moves NFL Week 4 + Early NHL Thoughts
2026/10/04
The NFL trade market is getting busy early!
Ryan and Dustin break down two significant trades from around the league, beginning with the New York Giants acquiring quarterback J.J. McCarthy from the Minnesota Vikings. We discuss what McCarthy could bring to New York, where he fits into the Giants’ plans, and what Minnesota’s willingness to move on means for both sides.
Then, the Dallas Cowboys add some much-needed help to their secondary by acquiring cornerback Joey Porter Jr. from the Pittsburgh Steelers. We look at Porter’s fit in Dallas, what the Cowboys gave up to get him, and why Pittsburgh decided to move on from the former second-round pick.
We also react to Cleveland’s 27-24 Thursday night victory over Pittsburgh before turning our attention to the rest of NFL Week 4 and the games and matchups we’ll be watching this weekend.
Finally, we switch from the gridiron to the ice for some VERY early observations from the opening days of the 2026-27 NHL season.
It’s football, hockey, trades, reactions, and probably a few overreactions on this edition of No Credentials Required! No Credentials Required is a part of the Belly Up Sports Media Network.

2026/09/23
Two weeks down, and the NFL is already giving us plenty to talk about.
Ryan and Dustin look back at NFL Week 2 and break down the games, teams, and players that stood out the most. We're talking about the best games of the week, the biggest surprises and upsets, the performances that left us disappointed, and the players who absolutely showed out.
Then we'll step back and look at the bigger picture: What did we actually learn from Week 2? Which teams have our attention after two games? Which early concerns are starting to feel legitimate? And which Week 2 results might just be early-season noise?

Episode 389: Highmark Opens With A Bang + Our NFL Week 2 Games, Players & Picks
2026/09/20
The NFL’s newest stadium is officially open, and the Buffalo Bills gave their fans plenty to celebrate.
Ryan and Dustin react to Buffalo’s 41-31 victory over the Detroit Lions in the first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium. Josh Allen accounted for five touchdowns as the Bills moved to 2-0, but what stood out beyond the final score — and what should we take away from Detroit’s performance?
From there, we look ahead to the rest of NFL Week 2 and highlight the games, players, and individual matchups we’ll be watching closely this weekend.
And, of course, we wrap things up by cutting the brakes! Ryan and Dustin make their Week 2 selections in the Cut the Brakes Pick ’Em Challenge, including three game picks and one upset special.

Episode 388: NFL Week 1 Overreactions: Biggest Wins, Upsets & Disappointments
2026/09/16
One week down, and we're already questioning everything we thought we knew about the 2026 NFL season.
Ryan and Dustin break down the opening week of NFL action by looking at the games that stood out the most, the biggest surprises and upsets, the teams and players that disappointed us, and our peak performers from Week 1.
But we're also asking the dangerous question every NFL fan asks after exactly one game: what did we actually learn?
Which performances are worth buying into? Which teams might have legitimate problems? And which Week 1 results are destined to become hilarious overreactions by the time we get to October?
We're sorting through all of it on this episode of No Credentials Required—where you don't need a press pass to talk sports! No Credentials Required is a part of the Belly Up Sports Media Network.

Finally, we preview the rest of NFL Week 1 by looking at the games, players, storylines, and individual matchups that intrigue us the most — along with a few games that might have us reaching for the remote.
It’s hockey memories, NFL reactions, Week 1 predictions, and plenty of opinions on another edition of No Credentials Required: Where You Don’t Need a Press Pass to Talk Sports!

Episode 386: The NFL Is Back! Our Complete 2026 Season Preview
2026/09/09
The NFL is back!
Before the 2026 NFL season officially gets underway, Ryan and Dustin grab the crystal ball and make their predictions for the year ahead on No Credentials Required.
Which teams will win their divisions? Who makes the playoffs? Which contenders are being overlooked — and which teams might not live up to the preseason hype?
The guys break down the AFC and NFC, pick their playoff fields, discuss potential breakout teams and players, and make their predictions for MVP and the NFL's other major awards.
They'll also put a few bold predictions on the record before making their AFC and NFC Championship picks and revealing who they believe will be playing for — and winning — Super Bowl LXI.
Some of these predictions will look brilliant in January. Others will probably age like milk.
Either way, football is back, and it's time to talk NFL.
