Stephon makes his triumphant return to the show and what a movie to come back with. This week we take the streetcar down to desire and Jake finally gets to check an early Brando movie off of their list. It's a star studded cast with great performances, and some dark, dark material penned by Tennessee Williams. It's a wild ride.

McConaughey "month" continues, and just in time for spooky season, Justin and Jake dive into the horror/thriller (coming of age?) movie Frailty. Kind of starring Matthew McConaughey. But mostly Bill Paxton. Directed by: Bill Paxton. It's a wild ride. Are demons real? Or is hell just on earth? Find out!

It's spooky season, so you know what that means! That's right, Brooke is back on the show to talk about the scariest thing of all, the eventually environmental doom of our planet. Delivered via a cute story about robots. It's a good time?

Adam is back and it is time for another moon movie! This time we've got Sam Rockwell losing his mind on the real moon while a Spacey robot follows him around. Scary. But is there something sinister waiting on the dark side of the moon? Well... turns out to be pretty existentially horrifying, so, yes!

Jake isn't the world's biggest fan of David O. Russell. But he hasn't seen this film, so maybe that opinion will change. Michael is back to dive deep into the existential crisis that is this film. Mark Wahlberg being good in the movie? That's just the tip of the iceberg! Which is apparently also a cheeseburger.

Jake saw this once, but he basically got so drunk he doesn't remember it. Except the part where Bradley Cooper has sex with Michael Ian Black. Thankfully Luke is here to talk about that, and much, much more. Check it out!

Jake is thrilled to welcome first time guest, long time friend Chelsi Kern on to the show for the very first time. They talk about the past, Chelsi's move to New York Citaaaaaaay, casting director stuff, and then they dive into Tootsie. How does an older film about a man in drag hold up to a modern lens? Well... that's what the episode is for!

Kurt and Nick are back on the show, and it's time to dive deep into the waters... the John Waters that is. A really specific filmmaker with a really specific brand and band of actors, how does Polyester hold up on LaserDisc? How does it hold up to modern times? And how does the Odorama scratch and sniff card hold up? Maybe a little too well... But you'll have to listen to find out!

A tall tale as old as time, your dad refuses to be open and honest with you. What happens when Tim Burton makes that movie? Well Jake and first time guest Eric are here to find out!

Super special episode this week! Jamel King joins Jake for the very first time ever on the show to talk about Selena! They chat a bit about acting and film, and then dive into this interesting biopic starring J. Lo and Edward James Olmos. How does it hold up? Is watching a movie that culminates in the loss of one of the biggest rising stars ever super sad? Yes! But find out the other stuff by listening, check it out!

Rob is back on the show, and it's time to finally tackle some good ol' John Ford! Is it as high octane as the other Earp movies? Well, actually kind of cuz it's crazy what they were putting on screen back in the day. How does an actual true classic hold up? Check it out!

It's a rare day on CTC, we are covering a documentary! And we have an amazing new guest, Brad joins us for the first time. We talk filmmaking, maybe get a little too into the weeds of it, and then documentary, and then dive into this moving portrait of a woman who has been fighting for her husband's freedom for almost two decades. Check it out!

Sammy is back on the show and it's apparently time to talk Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis in drag! And how a movie from the 50's handles this. Does Billy Wilder continue his hot streak on the show, or is Some Like It Hot where it finally runs cold? Listen to find out!

We cover real classics on this show. Ones everyone remembers and that somehow Jake hasn't seen. Tommy Lee Jones. Linda Hamilton. Robert Vaughn. Nick Cassavetes. A true 80's classic that no one forgot. But for real, this is a fun, wild movie about shadow governments, sci-fi cars, high-level thieves, heists, and so much more. Adam Steele joins us for the first time ever to talk film, and also music. Go check out his music in all the places!

What's it like when Matthew McConaughey is tapped to play just a regular guy who becomes an overnight tv sensation? It's fine. Justin has never seen the movie, Jake vaguely remembers it, it's a reverse episode. Did we lost almost 40 minutes of us talking due to a tech thing? Yes! Does it matter? Not really. Maybe proof the show doesn't matter. But sometimes you just wanted to parasocially hang out with some people, hey... kind of like what this movie is about!
