You fondly remember opening the booster packs in the past, looking through the cards, seeing stats of players or finding that foil card that looks oh so sweet, and the nostalgia of those times floods back inot your mind, bathing you in dopamine and memories of that pure joy. And then you see them. Magic the Gathering cards. You've heard about them, a couple of your friends get together on the weekends to play and have been trying to get you to play for years. It's the perfect time for it. You stop and consider what to get, overwhelmed by all the decisions in front of you. You grab a random pack, purchase it with the rest of your groceries, and when you get home and get everything put up you grab that booster pack from the latest set, ready yourself, and open the pack to that euphoric carboard smell. Fast forward a year. Your collection has grown after spending half of your salary on a collection that would make you competitive at your local tournament scene, and you are almost done getting a full set of the most recent expansion of the game.
