Not All "Christians" Go to Heaven | Matthew 7:21-23 | pastorsouzy
2026/11/01
What kind of faith actually amazes Jesus? And when life feels impossible, will you respond with faith or fear?
In Matthew 8:5–13, Jesus encounters a Roman centurion whose unexpected faith reveals something powerful about humility, authority, and trusting God when circumstances seem hopeless.
In this message from The Life and Lore of Jesus, Pastor Souzy of XP Church breaks down the faith of the Roman centurion, explains the differences between Matthew 8 and Luke 7, and equips believers to better understand and defend the reliability of Scripture.
God doesn't always answer our requests the way we expect, but His authority and goodness remain unchanged.

Am I Too Far Gone for Jesus? | The Debuff Only Jesus Can Remove | @AJVALDEZ
2026/10/25
Have you ever wondered if you've messed up so badly that even Jesus wouldn't want you anymore?
Maybe you've failed. Maybe you're carrying addiction, shame, broken relationships, rejection, or mistakes you can't undo.
In Matthew 8:1–4, Jesus encounters a man with leprosy—someone society considered unclean, isolated, and untouchable.
The man comes to Jesus and says:
“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Jesus doesn't back away.
He reaches out.
He touches him.
And says:
“I am willing. Be clean.”
In this message, Pastor AJ Valdez uses the infamous Corrupted Blood incident from World of Warcraft to illustrate what it can feel like to carry a debuff that keeps spreading and destroying everything around you
WILL IT STAND? | What Are You Building Your Life On? | Matthew 7:24–29 | @AJVALDEZ
2026/10/18
Will your faith survive the storm? Everyone is building their life on something. But when trials hit, will your foundation stand?
In this powerful sermon, “Will It Stand?”, Pastor AJ Valdez of XP Church breaks down Matthew 7:24–29, where Jesus teaches about the wise and foolish builders.
Both builders heard the Word. Both built houses. Both faced storms. But only one house stood.
The difference wasn't what they heard. It was what they did with it.
Through personal testimony, biblical teaching, and gaming analogies from World of Warcraft raids, Pastor AJ challenges us to stop being spectators of God's Word and start putting it into practice.
You'll discover:
Why hearing God's Word isn't the same as obeying it
How life's storms expose cracks in our spiritual foundation
Why spiritual maturity requires digging deeper into Scripture
How to build your life on Jesus Christ, the solid rock
Why obedience, consistency, and faith matter when trials come
How God can strengthen and restore us through difficult seasons
🎮 YOUR NEXT QUEST: BUILD A FOUNDATION THAT LASTS.
Don't just watch another sermon. Take what you've learned and put it into practice.

Not All "Christians" Go to Heaven | Matthew 7:21-23 | @pastorsouzy
2026/10/11
Not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is actually following Jesus.
Those are difficult words—but in Matthew 7:21–23, Jesus gives one of the most serious warnings in the Sermon on the Mount:
“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven…”
So how can you know if you're actually a true disciple of Jesus?
In this message, Pastor Souzy walks through Matthew 7:21–23 and challenges us to look beyond our outward appearance, religious activity, church attendance, serving, giving, or simply saying the right things.
Because it's possible to look the part without actually surrendering your heart. 31.Thereisanincredi
🎮 Using World of Warcraft transmog as an illustration, Pastor Souzy explains how we can spend so long presenting one appearance on the outside that we forget what's actually underneath.
And Jesus' warning isn't simply that other people might deceive us.
We can deceive ourselves.
You can attend church. You can read your Bible. You can pray. You can serve. You can give. You can call Jesus “Lord.”
And yet Jesus says religious activity alone isn't what saves us. 31.Thereisanincredi
The question is whether there has been true repentance and surrender.
When Jesus becomes Lord, there is a supernatural change of heart. Scripture calls it being born again. Your desires begin to change. You're not instantly perfect, but your heart increasingly wants God's will instead of your own.
WATCH OUT FOR FALSE PROPHETS | @PastorNfluence | Matthew 7:15–20
2026/10/04
ot everyone who talks about God is actually speaking for God. So how can you tell the difference?
In Matthew 7:15–20, Jesus gives His followers a serious warning:
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.”
But Jesus doesn't only tell us to watch out—He tells us what to look for:
“By their fruit you will recognize them.”
In this message, Pastor Nfluence breaks down Jesus' warning about false prophets and why discernment matters more than ever, especially in a world where anyone can pick up a phone, open TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, or social media and claim to speak for God. 25.Amen.Amen.Pastor
🎮 Using examples from League of Legends and World of Warcraft, Pastor Nfluence explains how someone can appear to have the right rank on the outside while their actions reveal something completely different.
The same principle applies spiritually.
Someone can have “Pastor” in their name, quote Scripture, preach online, or appear righteous—but Jesus tells us to look deeper.
What fruit are they producing?
Pastor Nfluence gives two practical steps for developing discernment:
1. Ask the Lord for wisdom.2. When possible, have it confirmed by trusted spiritual leaders. 25.Amen.Amen.Pastor
And this message isn't just about identifying other people's fruit.
It challenges us to examine our own.
Are our words and actions rooted in Jesus?
Are we sharing the Gospel to glorify Christ—or ourselves?
There's also an important distinction between good deeds and good fruit. Someone can perform a good action for the wrong reason. Biblical fruit comes from a life rooted in Christ. 25.Amen.Amen.Pastor
So before you automatically believe the next Christian TikTok, YouTube video, Twitch stream, sermon, or preacher you hear:
Stop. Pray. Open your Bible. Ask questions. Discern.
And remember:
Don't take someone's word for it. Open Scripture for yourself.

It’s Time to Choose | Matthew 7:13-14
2026/09/27
It’s Time to Choose | Matthew 7:13-14 | Church for Gamers
An alternate, slightly more curiosity-driven version would be:
It’s Time to Choose — Which Road Are You On? | Matthew 7:13-14
📖 YouTube Description
Some choices change your game. Others change your life. But there is one choice that affects eternity.
In Matthew 7:13–14, Jesus brings us to one of the most challenging moments in the Sermon on the Mount:
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction… For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life.”
After walking through Matthew 5, 6, and 7, Jesus brings His listeners to a decision. We've heard His words—but what are we going to do with them? 23.Whatup,churchfri
In this message, we look at the two roads Jesus describes: one that is wide, easy, and comfortable, and another that is narrow, difficult, and leads to life.
Just like choices in games can completely change your character, faction, or story, our choices have consequences. But Jesus isn't talking about a temporary decision that can simply be reset.
He's talking about which road we're choosing to walk.
Jesus begins with one powerful word:
ENTER.
It's an invitation. You don't earn your way through the narrow gate with money, accomplishments, status, or good works. Jesus extends the invitation to come to Him. 23.Whatup,churchfri
Following Jesus doesn't mean life suddenly becomes easy. Jesus is upfront that the narrow way can involve difficulty, hardship, sacrifice, and opposition. But the destination is different:
It leads to LIFE. 23.Whatup,churchfri
And this message isn't only for someone who has never believed in Jesus.
It's also a challenge for those of us who call ourselves Christians.
Have we simply heard the words of Jesus—or have we actually surrendered our lives to Him?
Have we given Jesus certain parts of our lives while holding onto others?
Have we been sitting in church, watching services, or hanging out in Christian communities without actually walking the road Jesus calls us to walk?
Jesus calls us to more than simply hearing.
He calls us to follow.
Maybe you've been exploring faith for a long time. Maybe you've been telling yourself, “I'll make that decision later.”
The challenge of this message is simple:
IT'S TIME TO CHOOSE.
Which road are you on?

DO GOOD FIRST | What Jesus Really Meant by the Golden Rule | Matthew 7:12
2026/09/21
What did Jesus really mean by the Golden Rule?
In Matthew 7:12, Jesus says:
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
We often live by a different rule: I'll see how they treat me first.
If they're kind, I'll be kind. If they respect me, I'll respect them. If they're toxic... I'll give them that same energy back.
But Jesus calls us to something different:
DO GOOD FIRST.
In this message, Pastor AJ Valdez breaks down the Golden Rule and what it looks like to actually live it out—in our families, communities, workplaces, Twitch chats, Discord servers, and even inside games like World of Warcraft and Marvel Rivals.
Instead of simply saying, “I didn't do anything bad,” Jesus challenges us to actively look for opportunities to do good. Don't just avoid insulting someone—encourage them. Don't just avoid excluding someone—invite them. Don't just notice someone struggling—help them.
Ask, Seek, Knock | Matthew 7:7-11 | Church for Gamers | @bdeojee
2026/09/13
What do you do when your build isn’t working — and you don’t know what needs to change?
In this XP Church message, Beezoosh takes us into Matthew 7:7–11 and Jesus’ invitation to ask, seek, and knock. Using Monster Hunter, theory crafting, and the struggle of hitting a wall in-game, we explore what it looks like to trust God when our own understanding isn’t enough.
Sometimes we come to God already convinced we know the upgrade we need: a better opportunity, a changed circumstance, an open door, or a problem removed.
But our Heavenly Father sees the whole build.
He knows what we can see and what we can’t. He knows the path, the timing, what needs to change around us — and what needs to change within us.
📚 ASK PERSISTENTLYPrayer isn’t an emergency button. Keep returning to the Father because you know who you’re asking.
🔎 SEEK EXPECTANTLYSeeking God isn’t about getting everything we want. It’s trusting that there is something good to discover as we follow Him — and ultimately discovering more of God Himself.
🚪 KNOCK CONFIDENTLYOur confidence isn’t based on having the perfect prayer, earning access, or reaching a high enough spiritual level. We approach God confidently because He is our Father, He loves us, and He gives good gifts.
You may not understand your current build.
But you can trust the One who knows the build.

Do Not Judge | Matthew 7:1-6 | Church for Gamers | @PastorNfluence
2026/09/06
Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” — Matthew 7:1
But what did Jesus actually mean when He said “Do not judge”?
In this message, Pastor Nfluence continues our journey through the Sermon on the Mount as we enter Matthew 7:1–6 and unpack one of Jesus’ most recognized—and sometimes misunderstood—teachings.
Jesus paints an unforgettable picture: someone trying to remove a tiny speck of sawdust from another person's eye while completely ignoring the massive plank sticking out of their own.
For gamers, this can hit especially close to home.
Someone misses a mechanic. Your teammate makes a bad play. Your raid wipes. Someone doesn't know the dungeon. Suddenly, it becomes incredibly easy to forget that there's a real person behind that screen and begin judging them instead.
Pastor Nfluence challenges us to ask a different question:
Before I point out what's wrong with someone else, have I allowed God to examine what's happening in me?
Jesus doesn't simply tell us to ignore our brothers and sisters. Pastor Nfluence explains that we should care enough to help—but first remove the plank from our own eye. Our correction should come from a heart that genuinely wants to help, not from anger, frustration, pride, or hypocrisy.
The message also tackles the difficult words of Jesus:
“Do not throw your pearls to pigs.”
What does that actually mean? Pastor Nfluence connects this teaching with Jesus sending out His disciples in Luke 10 and challenges Christians to share the good news faithfully without allowing rejection to turn into anger and judgment. Our responsibility is obedience; we can't control how another person responds.
Whether you're in a raid, competitive match, Discord server, comment section, workplace, church, or home:
Remove the plank. Show grace. Be the light of Jesus.
The Main Story Quest | Matthew 6:31-34 | Church for Gamers | AJVALDEZ
2026/08/30
What’s your main quest—and is God actually first? 🎮🔥
In this message from Pastor AJ, we continue through Matthew and unpack Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.”
Life can feel like an overloaded quest log: bills, work, relationships, family, entertainment, anxiety, plans for tomorrow—and somewhere in the middle of all those side quests, we can lose track of the main quest.
Jesus gives us the priority: seek the Kingdom first.
Pastor AJ challenges us to move beyond simply knowing about God and into Kingdom living—surrendering every area of our lives to Jesus, recognizing Him as King, and carrying His Kingdom into the places God has put us.
In this sermon:🎯 Seek the Kingdom first👑 Recognize Jesus as King🛡️ Surrender every area of your life🔥 Carry the Kingdom into dark places🎮 Reach gamers and digital communities with the light of Christ⚔️ Follow Jesus even when Kingdom living costs you something
Salvation isn't the end of the quest. It's the beginning.
God is calling believers deeper—not to spectate Christianity, but to live under the authority of the King and carry His Kingdom to others.
Stop watching. Start building.

How to Not Worry or Be Anxious | Matthew 6:25-34 | Church for Gamers | @PastorSouZy
2026/08/23
What do you do when you don't just have worry—but worry has you?
We all experience worry and anxiety. Sometimes it's sitting quietly in the back of our minds. Other times, it feels like it has completely taken control—affecting our sleep, our thoughts, and even the decisions we make. Pastor Souzy shares openly about a season when worry began doing exactly that in his own life.
In this message from Matthew 6:25–34, Jesus gives us a radically different way to respond.
Pastor Souzy challenges us to recognize that worry is a terrible master. When worry begins dictating our thoughts and decisions, the answer isn't simply taking control back for ourselves—it's giving control back to God. Jesus is King, He is on the throne, and He is worthy of our trust.
The Whole Heart & Mind | A Message for Gamers 🎮 | @PastorNfluence
2026/08/16
What has your heart and mind?
In this message from XP Church, Pastor Nfluence continues The Life and Lore of Jesus through Matthew 6:19–24 and challenges us to examine what we truly treasure.
Using gaming inventories, gear, money, possessions, relationships, and everyday life, Pastor Nfluence shows how easily temporary things can become the focus of our hearts. Jesus reminds us that earthly treasures don't last—but the treasures of His Kingdom do.
But this message goes deeper than our possessions.
Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbors as ourselves. When God becomes our greatest treasure, He begins transforming what we value, how we see others, and where we place our focus.
🎮 Are your eyes fixed on your circumstances—or on Jesus?
❤️ Does God have your whole heart?
🧠 Does He have your whole mind?
Pastor Nfluence also closes the message by leading XP Church in communion as the church breaks its week-long fast together, remembering the broken body and shed blood of Jesus and declaring once again that He is our greatest treasure.

The Fast God Sees | Why Fasting Is More Than Giving Up Food
2026/08/09
Fasting isn't about impressing people—it's about drawing closer to God.
In this message, Pastor AJ Valdez walks through Matthew 6:16-18 and reveals the kind of fast that truly pleases God. Jesus teaches that fasting isn't a performance for others to see, but an act of worship done in the secret place where our Heavenly Father sees and rewards.
Through personal testimony, the story of David, and practical application, you'll discover that God isn't looking for religious rituals—He's looking for hearts that hunger for Him above everything else.
If you've ever wondered:
Why should Christians fast? Does fasting still matter today? How do I fast with the right heart?

Why We Pray | Matthew 6:5-8 | Life & Lore of Jesus | PastorNfluence
2026/07/26
Why do we pray? Is prayer about being seen by others, or is it about drawing near to God?
In this message, Pastor Nfluence walks through Matthew 6:5–8, where Jesus teaches that prayer isn't a performance—it's an invitation into a genuine relationship with the Father. Looking at examples from Scripture, including the Pharisee and the tax collector, as well as Moses' relationship with God, this sermon challenges us to move beyond religious routines and embrace authentic, personal communion with Him.
Whether you've struggled with consistency in prayer or simply want to understand why Jesus calls us to pray, this message will encourage you to seek God's presence instead of people's approval.
