On today's show, I talk with my dear friend Heidi who I have known for over 13 years.  When I met her she was running her own business, very successful and goal-orientated. She worked out and ate healthily.  I always admired her for her strength, emotionally and physically.  She was such an amazing leader, beautiful and kind woman.   Then one day an unimaginable tragedy occurred in her life.  Trying to navigate through her grief, it seemed that her tragic childhood and all of the trauma finally had caught up to her.  Emotionally tanked, she couldn't exercise anymore, and her migraines were out of control.  There was something wrong more than grieving her loss. Years went by and I watched her become this frail person who was just doing her best to survive.  She went to many homeopathic doctors, medical doctors, and psychologists, trying to figure out what was going on with her health.  It seemed that the emotional and physical abuse from her childhood was rearing its ugly head causing all kinds of issues and had finally caught up to her. I have learned in the last 5 years of my life's journey and always believed that trauma and pain not dealt with will end up wreaking havoc on your physical body, causing autoimmune disease, panic attacks, anxiety, and migraines to name a few. Today David Broussard will recount how he was called to follow the Lord 40 years ago when his band was ready to sign with a major recording label. How he obeyed His command and as a result stayed in the hair business where, by divine appointment, he and I met.  David suffered a ruptured appendix yet he walked out of the hospital after 12 days with no surgery. While in the hospital the Lord gave David a vision about his healing and It happened exactly as He had shown him! All the while his wife, Michelle, encouraged David to start playing and leading worship again. Many times we see a car wreck after it has happened with lots of traffic, police officers, and ambulances.  But have you ever come upon one at the moment it happened?  Did you stop to help them? Did it cross your mind? Or did you just hurry on to where you were going? I think that is most of us, thinking there are many other people, to stop and help.  In 2009 on a very busy highway in Dallas Texas, that very thing happened to me.  A wreak had literally just happened.  I was in a hurry, I had agreed to pick up one of my daughter's friends from cheer practice. It was after dark and in an unfamiliar location not close to our home, and I couldn't be late.  In an instant, I felt a strong and very clear feeling to STOP and help the person in the car! Across a 5 lane highway.  There was no negotiating that I didn't have time, I had to go help! What came next was one of the most miraculous stories of my life and to this day still is.  Listen to this heartfelt testimony of how God can move in our lives and Angels are at work when we are not even aware!
