Ready? FIGHT. There is a Streetfighter movie round corner and what better way to whet those appetites then revisiting the Van Damme monstrosity and imagining a world where Ken Russell made a Streetfighter movie. Correct, there is no better way.

Coming off T2 the peak collaboration twixt Cameron and Schwarzenegger, comes this surprisingly weird comedy/spy flick that's broad in humour, precise in action and liberal with physics. When all is said and done it's really Jamie-Lee Curtis' movie. We also pitch our usual nonsense.

Highlander 2 may be an absolute circus fire regardless of which version you watch but there is much to love. Some to love. A couple of bits. Hear us out...

If you go looking for classic Schwarzenegger in this weirdly low-key romp you might get no satisfaction, yet there is plenty of joy sprinkled in to it's stodgy body. It's like whoever baked this cake might have been a bit tipsy.

Out of the sky, our rockets ignite, we jet into battle it's the... Hardcasters... That got away from me a bit there - but we're back for season 3 and we are blasting off with an out of genre selection but a banger all the same - Flash Gordon!

Christmas time, mistletoe and Lethal Weapon. That's right, we finally get to THE buddy cop movie of the 80s! Plus we pitch our own festive buddy cop blow out: Hot Craps! Warning - we talk about suicide quite a fair bit.

Indulge two middle-aged children of the 80s (more than usual) as snuggle ourselves in the warm blanket of nostalgia that is G.I.Joe. We loved the G.I.Joe toyline (Action Force if you're nasty) and whatever critical merit this movie does or does not have is second to its uncanny ability to mimic the joy of smashing plastic together as kids. We felt this context would bring you a little closer to us, perhaps help you feel like you know us a little more. After all; knowing is almost 50% of the struggle.

What? ANOTHER halloween special? In November? Well it would be scary if your were expecting it. What is contained within this shocker? That would be telling... It's Chuck Norris vs Slasher movie Silent Rage. It's not great.

It's the spookiest time of the year again but don't be afraid as the Hardcasters have your back (well, we're hiding behind it). We won't spoil what's in store for you but rest assured it's 100% TREAT. So get stuck in!

Join us on an exciting and romantically charged adventure into rainforest as we revisit this fun-filled classic. It may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of action cinema but there is plenty of the kinds of thrills, chases and suspect clothing choices we love here at Hardcasters central. Then we bang on about obscure British celebs as per usual.

DePlume and Visage discuss the amazing stunt work and location photography of Maniac Cop 2 and then, obviously, talk at length about a cop that's a minotaur. It's all business as usual here at Hardcasters HQ.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to your headphones! Don't worry, a giant electric shark is not going to swim out of your earbuds and into your brain (though we'd totally watch that movie). Instead, DePlume and Visage will instead enthuse about the Statham versus Prehistoric Shark sequel before going on to pitch a quite frankly marvellous monster movie about crabs.

Who loves you and who do you love? Hardcasters! Right? Well what else, if not love, describes us bringing our breakdown of one the all-time action greats. And if that's not enough we dust of our friend Tosh Lines to continue his ongoing saga. So sit back, relax and eat this all up. But we hope you leave enough room for our fists...

Now listen carefully 007... That's right, DePlume and Visage are talking about Bond, James. Bond. James Bond. The Living Daylights is an absolute belter and only marginally ahead of our own Bond-style pitch. So get those buds in as this is for your EARS only. HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

The boys are back after a winter hiatus with Judge Dredd. By Drokk we love this movie and will give anyone who disagrees 10 years in the cubes! What's that you say? "it's awful?" We KNEW you'd say that.
