Provo's Five Forces (ft. Danny Felton)
2026/10/14
Honestly? Thankful the Irish could ease into the season, but way more thankful that's over. Exciting football is back on the menu, and the pit should be back in your stomach. The Irish took care of business and obliterated Stanford, and now we turn to BYU. Top 10 matchup, on the road in a sober yet raucous atmosphere.
Notre Dame has not won a top 10 road game in 14 years. Our solution? Get the MBA consultant up and moving. Danny Felton joins us on the pod to assess the matchup with the Mormons. Tune in to hear some business terms you probably haven't heard since you were walking the halls of Mendoza, but more importantly the keys to the game. Huge slate of CFB this weekend - tune in for our picks at the end.
Carolina Recap with Jack Doyle
2026/10/08
The man, the myth, the legend - Johnny Pops is back as our first guest of the 2026 season to recap the imperfect, yet encouraging win over UNC. At times it looked like ND was going to roll, but Carolina was able to make some plays in certain spots to make the score look closer than the game actually was. We go under the hood on an improved running game, an impeccable performance from CJ Carr, and a little bit of a concerning perfomance from our secondary. A huge week of CFB awaits, and we have our best guy on the pod to see the board and help us with our picks for the weekend.
Adon vs. Jordon
2026/09/30
Purdue is Purdue. The Irish walloped the Boilermakers once again - the bigger question is, will the victory prove to be the "get right game" like seasons past? Well, we will see if the Irish can keep it rolling against the greatest NFL head coach of all time this Saturday down in Chapel Hill. Another 3-TD spread, but we help you pick apart what to look out for from the Heels and if we think this one could be closer than it looks on paper.
What a wild week in college football - and a great one. Not very often you get a win from ND paired with Michigan and USC losses. We cover the blunder from our two rivals, as well as everything else that happened in what felt like the "real" kickoff to the CFB season. Another big week ahead - and we share our picks for that.
The Big Drum Beckons
2026/09/23
What a world we live in where a 17 point victory over a historic rival is deemed "forgettable". You gotta win your clunkers, and while everything wasn't perfect for the Irish, they did more than enough to keep the record spotless.
Our historical "get right" opponent awaits - another semi-rival in Purdue. Drew Bress isn't lining up on the other side of the football, but they present a unique challenge to this year's iteration of the Irish in that they are aware of the forward pass.
Oh, we didn't forget about the awesome game down in Oxford - we bounce around the country to recap what felt like the first "real" week of college football, and give our picks for the week ahead.
You Telling Me an Irish Fried This Rice?
2026/09/17
52-0! Don't see that every week. Well, our opponents aren't named after starches every week either. We are back from Bermuda to recap the victory - and break down the running game, which luckily was pretty much the only concern coming out of this week!
College Football feels like it's officially back. We saw our first top 10 upset with Oregon losing, and a thriller in Austin as Texas came back to beat OSU. We recap the week that was and preview the week to come, including the Michigan State team we face on Saturday night.
Badger Breakdown + Rice Preview
2026/09/09
Was it perfect? No. But was it effective? Absolutely. We have our full review of the Irish running away from Wisconsin locked and loaded. Does CJ Carr have enough weapons? We discuss it. Is the O-line a problem? Tom has you covered. Do we have to worry about the losses of Braunte Johnson and Jason Onye? Of course we talk about it.
No BB&G episode is complete without some Michigan hate - we talk about the abhorrent abuse of power in Ann Arbor in addition to the rest of the games around the country before previewing the titanic matchup with the Rice Owls and the biggest games of CFB in week 2.
Wisconsin Preview + Rest of the Country Outlook

2 words. 8 letters. And they mean everything to us...
Game Week. Finally here. Week 0 let us dip our toes into the water, but now it's time to be fully submerged into the greatest time of the year. College football is fully back - and the Irish play this week. We go through the keys to the game against the Badgers, who to watch out for as possible breakout stars, and of course, bring you our predictions for this week in CFB and for the season as a whole. All that and more, right here.
2026 Season Preview
2026/08/26
Welcome back, Football.
You miss us? Of course you did. Somehow we scrapped and clawed our way through the last 9 months of real life and are now back talking ND football. Did you block all college football personalities after they did everything they could to keep us out of the CFP? Do not worry! Keep them blocked because Dono, Ian, and Tom are back wherever you get your podcasts to bring you everything you need to know about the 2026 version of the Fighting Irish. Transfer Portal news? Check. Freshman class? Check? Position by position breakdown? Check. All that and more..
Playoff Quick Hitters
2025/12/04
What needs to happen for ND to make the playoff? That's it. That's all that matters now. Quick hitter episode to give you everything you need to know and the ramifications of every outcome this weekend.
Pitt Recap + CFP Outlook with Nick Schleith
2025/11/20
People don't like Notre Dame? Who knew! The haters and losers, of which there are many, are spewing nonsense all over the internet about our beloved Fighting Irish, which are fresh off destroying one of the biggest losers in CFB, Pat Narduzzi and his Pitt Panthers. You want to know the best way to deal with trolls? Cold, hard data. For the first time, we bring on our Quant, Nick Schleith, to arm you BBG Heads with all the facts you need to deal with the Miami and Alabama fans out there.
Approaching the Pitt
2025/11/14
Week by week, the playoff picture becomes more and more clear. The Irish move up one notch in the playoff rankings, with one final shot to make a statement against a ranked opponent in the Pittsburgh Panthers. Destiny awaits, and your favorite podcasters are along for the ride with you.
CFP Rankings + Boring College Recap
2025/11/06
And the crowd went mild! A sleepwalker from both the crowd and the Irish defined the game last weekend in Chestnut Hill. Nonetheless, we escaped with a W, no thanks to the kicking game. But that's behind us - the Irish control their destiny, entering the initial playoff rankings at #10. There's a long way to go, but it starts this weekend at home against Navy. All that and more, on this week's episode.
Talking Bye Week, BC, and... BK
2025/10/30
Oh, you thought we were above taking a victory lap after Brian Kelly got fired? Think again. Of course that's what we lead the pod with after an uneventful past 10 days for ND football. At some point in this pod, we do get back on topic to discuss the broader CFB landscape and the matchup with BC, but oh boy was it nice looking back on BK's fateful decision back in 2021.
USC Preview
2025/10/16
Any time, any place. That's the motto of this podcast, but not the University of Southern Cal. Tom joins us live from JFK as we dive deep into the matchup against the Trojans in a game that will likely decide the season. Can the improved Irish defense slow down the high-powered USC offense? Is ND's offense going to generate enough big plays? All that and more on what may be the very last USC preview podcast.
Oh yeah, we also revel in Penn State / James Franklin's misery for a good 15 minutes.
Boise Recap + Season Outlook with Sean O'Brien
2025/10/08
Long time listener, first time caller? We bring in another one of our deeply connected Irish sources, Sean O'Brien to join this week's pod. He gives his perspective on CJ Carr's "off" week, the newfound havoc the defense can create, and most importantly, his comprehensive analysis of every possible playoff scenario (it's time to dream). There's even a kicker at the end - he tells you how he plans on making millions of dollars on this week's college football slate.
