Emotional abuse is an uncommon form of abuse but can be more harmful than physical abuse, being constantly criticized, judged, compared, negative comments, minimizing, neglecting etc. I have been thru emotional abuse during my childhood, teen years and pre-adult. It really affected my self-esteem, confidence and self-worth. I wasn't aware of it until I was 20 years old because our society mostly talks about physical, verbal and sexual abuse and high school bullying. I am ready to take you guys in my past journey of what I've experienced, the lessons I got out of it and advices for you guys.
