We discussed the serious allegations of abuse, corpse mishandling amongst others that currently stand against the group, as well as the role of their God, Amy Carlson.  Hope you all enjoy! :) 

Today I'm with Homicide Lieutenant Gil Carrillo, the officer who caught Richard Ramirez (AKA the Night Stalker). For those who watched the Netflix documentary, you may recognise Gil. We discussed the case and looked at whether serial killers are born or made, the role of satanism/childhood abuse and if Ramirez was evil.  I looked at some fascinating research from neuroscientist Jim Fallon into the criminal brain, so tune in for a ton of interesting content with renowned detective Carrillo. 

Today we are discussing elements of the Hellenistic period, looking at astrology and stoicism.  These ancient philosophical practices are extremely applicable in modern society, with stoicism being the ancient art of mindfulness and self-care. We discuss the teachings of Seneca and Aurelius and how you can use their teachings to lead a meaningful life. 

We are back and questioning what it is that dictates human behaviour. Today we looked at the distinction between the brain and the mind as well as Cartesian dualism and different philosophical and theological approaches to the soul and eschatology.
