As we near the end of 2021, many organisations are unsurprisingly still feeling the strain of 2020. However, Consilio has managed to propel forwards as a result of the people-first-processes it has put in place to support its workforce.  In this installment of the People First Series, host Pete Sanders speaks with Consilio’s Senior Director, James Morrey-Jones, about what it takes to overcome periods of uncertainty, and how resilience, agility and humility are the key attributes to do so. James goes on to explain how Consilio has always prioritised mental health, but as the pandemic resulted in heightened stress levels for the majority of employees, it has cracked down on ways it can improve its mental health resources to offer further support.  Throughout the episode, James tells our listeners that an empathetic approach is what will allow you to progress beyond unfortunate circumstances, explaining that leadership is about service and empathy.
