Giving Sunshine
2022/06/20
in this week's podcast Coach Blu speaks to Jason Clawson about the process of grief he experienced, Listen as Jason opens a window in his heart as he processes the passing of his wife. Grief is a natural response to loss. It’s the emotional suffering felt when something or someone you love is taken away. Often, the pain of loss can feel overwhelming. You may experience all kinds of difficult and unexpected emotions, from shock or anger to disbelief, guilt, and profound sadness. The pain of grief can also disrupt your physical health, making it difficult to sleep, eat, or even think straight. These are normal reactions to loss—and the more significant the loss, the more intense your grief will be. Jason found the process of healing through service and the launching of Giving Sunshine, an offering to families and loved ones who have lost a loved one.  Jason has a big heart and you will feel the love he has as you listen.  For More Information:  https://www.givingsunshine.com/ [email protected] Please join Addict to Athlete’s Patreon support page and help us turn the mess of addiction into the message of sobriety! https://www.patreon.com/addicttoathlete Please visit our website for more information on Team Addict to Athlete and Addiction Recovery Podcasts. https://www.AddictToAthlete.org

Stay Humble Pray with Kyle Quilausing
2022/05/30
In this week's episode Coach Blu speaks with Kyle Quilausing former drug addict and at one point in time Hawaii's most wanted. Listen as Kyle describes his upbringing as ideal. He describes being brought up by his grandfather with wholesome family values and strong morals and ethics. After his grandfather introduced him to golf at the age of 5, Kyle quickly fell in love with the sport, dedicating every waking moment to perfecting his craft and becoming a six-time state golf champion, winning 16 titles, coming 4th in the world, and playing alongside Tiger Woods at ten years old. But after allowing his relative success to make him arrogant and prideful, Kyle was expelled from high school in his senior year, which became the catalyst for a downward spiral that eventually led him to become a 98-pound crystal meth addict, labeled Hawaii’s most wanted and a menace to society. Kyle has a powerful story about perseverance, humility, and overcoming extreme adversity.
