Every Little Bit Counts: The Small Changes Helping Me Feel My Best Again
2026/10/15
If you’ve been feeling low energy, off your game, or like you just need a little reset, this episode is for you. Lately, I’ve been feeling really good...more energized, more clear, and honestly just really proud of how I’ve been showing up for myself. And it hasn’t come from doing anything huge. In this episode of The Intentional Mind Podcast, I’m sharing one little mantra I’ve been coming back to: every little bit counts. I’m also sharing how looking back at a season when I felt my best reminded me of some simple practices I had slowly stopped doing when life got busy. Sometimes the things that help us feel our best are also the first things we let go of. So if you’ve been wanting to feel better, get your energy back, or just feel more intentional about how you’re moving through your days, I hope this episode gives you a few things to think about and try. You don’t have to overhaul your whole life. Every little bit counts. And if you want to join us for a free 15-minute Joy Party with throwback music, dancing and a little boost of joy, my friend is hosting one on November 10th. Maybe You Don’t Need to Grow Right Now: Build the Foundation First
2026/09/17
281 - If you’ve been feeling like you should be doing more, growing faster, reaching more people, making more money, or constantly chasing the next thing, this episode is for you. In this episode of The Intentional Mind Podcast, I’m sharing a realization I’ve been having in my own life and business: maybe this isn’t the season to grow, grow, grow. Maybe it’s the season to build the foundation that will actually support the growth you want later. We’re talking about slowing down long enough to get clear on what matters, strengthening your message, putting the right systems and support in place, and making sure your life and business can actually hold the growth you’re asking for. Because more growth isn’t always the answer. Sometimes the most powerful move is building something strong enough to grow from. If you’re ambitious, purpose-driven, and looking for permission to stop hustling for the next level and focus on what actually needs to be built first, this one is for you. Want to connect? What If You’re Being Too Realistic?
2026/09/04
280 - When is the last time you let yourself really dream about what could be without immediately shutting it down with what’s realistic, practical or possible right now? If you’ve been in a season of working, parenting, managing, providing and keeping everything moving, you may not even realize how little space you’ve been giving yourself to dream. In this episode of The Intentional Mind Podcast, I’m sharing a realization I’ve had lately: I’ve been so focused on getting through what’s in front of me that I haven’t been dreaming the way I used to. I reflect back on some of the things I once dreamed about that felt unrealistic at the time and am excited to share that many have now become an actual part of my life! Not because I knew exactly how they would happen. But because I allowed myself to imagine them before I had the plan. If you’re an ambitious working mom or purpose driven woman who has been carrying a lot, this episode is your reminder to make room for possibility again! You don’t always need to know the how. Sometimes you need to stop being so realistic long enough to ask yourself: What do I actually want? What would I love to be possible? Maybe it’s time to prioritize dreaming again. Want to connect? Triggered? How to Protect Your Peace & Be Intentional With Your Energy
2026/08/24
279 - If something has you triggered, frustrated, hurt, or just carrying energy you don’t want to keep carrying, this quick episode is for you. In this episode of The Intentional Mind Podcast, we’re talking about how to be more intentional with the energy you bring into hard moments so you can respond in a way you’re proud of, protect your peace, and experience more joy instead of letting one upsetting thing hijack your whole day. You’ll walk away with a simple way to think about your reactions, your communication, and the energy you’re adding to the spaces you’re in, especially when emotions are high. Because we don’t always get to choose what happens, but we can get better at choosing what we bring to what happens next. You Can Stop Rushing, You’re Not Gonna Miss What’s Meant for You
2026/08/14
278 - If you’ve been feeling behind, unsure, or like you need to hurry up and make something happen, this one is for you. In this episode of The Intentional Mind Podcast, I’m sharing a reminder about trusting the path you’re on, letting go of the pressure to get everything right, and believing that what is meant for you is not going to pass you by just because you didn’t move fast enough. We talk about faith, timing, mom guilt, comparison, the words and energy we bring into our lives, and what it can look like to be more present instead of constantly trying to figure out what comes next. I also share a few personal stories that reminded me how supported we really are, even when life does not go according to plan. Don't Let One Message or Interaction Ruin the Rest of Your Day
2026/08/06
277 - Have you ever received one email, text, comment, or piece of news that completely changed the energy of your day? One moment can quickly become much bigger than what actually happened. Before we know it, we are carrying that interaction into our work, our relationships, our decisions, and everything that comes next. In this episode, I’m sharing how to respond more intentionally when something throws you off, how to separate what happened from everything your mind starts making it mean, and how to keep one difficult moment from taking over the rest of your day. Because you cannot always control the message that lands in your inbox, the news someone delivers, or the energy someone brings to you, but you can decide what happens next. If you’ve ever let one interaction, email, comment, or unexpected moment steal more of your energy than you wanted it to, this episode is for you. The 2 Things People Who Design Fulfilling Careers and Lives Do Differently
2026/07/29
276 -What do people who create meaningful, fulfilling careers and lives do differently? Recently, I asked an experienced career coach who values intentional life design this question and his answer came down to two things we talk about in this episode. In this episode, I’m sharing why these two skills can create more clarity, connection, and opportunity and why waiting until you feel completely certain can keep you stuck. If you’ve been thinking more intentionally about how you’re spending your time, where your career is headed or frustrated you're not making the progress you want in your work or life, I’d love to hear your story. I’m gathering insights as I shape my next program. This is not a sales call, just a chance for me to listen and learn. The Weekly Operating System That's Helping Me Live and Work More Intentionally
2026/07/23
275 - Do you ever feel like you're constantly juggling work, home, family, and personal goals... yet still end the week wondering where your time went? In this episode, I'm sharing the simple operating system that's helped me feel more intentional, less overwhelmed, and more aligned with the life I'm trying to build. This isn't about squeezing more into your schedule. It's about creating a system that helps you make consistent progress on what matters most while giving you the margin to be present for your family, your work, and yourself. In this episode, I share: • The five core pieces of my personal operating system. • How creating a "second brain" helps me stop carrying everything around in my head. • Why I organize my calendar differently than most people. • How focus blocks help me make meaningful progress without feeling constantly busy. • The simple weekly review that helps me stay aligned with my goals and priorities. If you've been feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or like you're constantly reacting instead of living intentionally, I hope this episode gives you a practical framework you can begin using right away. And if listening to this makes you realize you're ready to create a clearer vision for your work and life, I'd love to talk with you. When the Life You Created No Longer Matches Who You're Becoming
2026/07/15
274 - Have you ever looked around at the life you've worked so hard to build and realized... it doesn't quite fit anymore? That's the conversation we're having today. In this episode, I'm opening up about a season I've been walking through myself. From the outside, life looks good. I've worked hard, built a meaningful career, and have so much to be grateful for. But over the past several months, I've realized something important: Sometimes we don't need a completely different life, we need a life that's better aligned with the person we're becoming. If you've been feeling restless, disconnected from work that once excited you, or like your priorities have shifted, you're not alone. This episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and give yourself permission to notice what may no longer be serving you. In this episode, I share: • Why it's completely normal for your definition of success to change over time • Some of the honest thoughts and feelings I've been navigating in this season of my own life • The first step toward creating a life and work that feel more aligned with who you're becoming If you've been thinking, "Something isn't quite right, but I can't put my finger on it," I hope this conversation reminds you that you're not behind, you're not failing, and you're certainly not alone. Sometimes growth simply asks us to become intentional again. I'd love your help. I'm currently designing a new program for women who feel like they've outgrown the life or work they've created and are ready to intentionally build what's next. As part of that process, I'm having a small number of Career Alignment Conversations to better understand what this season is really like. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear your story. 5 Unexpected Ways ChatGPT Can Help You Design a Career You Actually Love
2026/07/09
273 - To be clear, we're talking about using ChatGPT to align your work with the  lifestyle you want to have, not using it for resume stuff. I'm sharing five of my favorite ways to use ChatGPT to create more clarity, confidence, and alignment in your career, many of these I use with my own coaching clients who I'm helping transition into doing work they love that fits the season they're in. If you're trying to figure out what kind of work actually fits you, prepare for important meetings, make sense of what energizes you, or simply think more intentionally about your next chapter, these prompts are super helpful. I'd love your help. I'm currently doing research for my next career alignment program and am looking for people to interview to help me best design my next program. I'd love to interview anyone who may "look successful on paper," but feels like they have outgrown their current way of working and want to figure out what is next for them and how to start doing work that is more aligned with the lifestyle they want to have. If that's you, you can schedule a conversation below: https://tidycal.com/angbarnard/career-alignment-conversation Thank you so much for being part of this process. 7 Signs You've Outgrown Your Current Way of Working (The Before Picture)
2026/07/02
272 - In this episode, I'm sharing seven signs that you've outgrown your current way of working. Maybe you've been feeling more drained than energized. Maybe work that used to feel meaningful doesn't anymore. Or maybe you've simply been sensing that the way you've been working no longer fits the life you're trying to build. This isn't about making a rash career move or quitting your job tomorrow. It's about paying attention to what your life, energy, and values might be trying to tell you. Before you can intentionally design work that fits who you are today, you first have to recognize what's no longer working. Think of this episode as the "before" picture. I'd love your help. I'm currently designing a new Career Alignment program, and I'm looking to have a handful of short Career Alignment Conversations with people who feel like they've outgrown their current way of working. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear your story. Your insights will help me create something that's genuinely useful for people navigating this season. You can schedule a conversation here: https://tidycal.com/angbarnard/career-alignment-conversation Thank you so much for being part of this process. Should I Want More? What's Really Right for Me?
2026/06/18
271 - Should I Want More? Have you ever felt pressure to pursue something simply because everyone around you thinks you should? Maybe it's growing your business, taking on more clients, earning more money, climbing higher in your career, or saying yes to opportunities that look great on paper... But what if more isn't always the goal? In this episode, I share a recent reflection on the tension between outside expectations and personal vision. We'll talk about how easy it is to get pulled into someone else's definition of success and why it's important to regularly pause and ask: What do I actually want? We'll explore the difference between growth and alignment, how to discern whether an opportunity is truly yours to pursue, and why staying connected to your values, season of life, and God-given vision matters more than keeping up with everyone else. If you've ever found yourself wondering whether you should be doing more, building more, or wanting more, this episode is a reminder that success isn't about following someone else's path. It's about having the courage to follow your own. Connect with Ang: Instagram: @angbarnard Website: angbarnard.com Email: [email protected]
Am I Falling Behind? The Tension Between Motherhood and Ambition
2026/06/09
270 - Have you ever felt like everyone else is moving ahead while you're just trying to keep up? Recently, I found myself overwhelmed by the realities of working motherhood—juggling childcare, household responsibilities, work, business goals, and the never-ending mental load that comes with trying to do it all. But beneath the stress was a deeper fear: Am I falling behind? In this episode, I share a mindset shift and biblical perspective that brought me peace, renewed my energy, and reminded me that God is not limited by my timeline. We'll talk about the tension many working moms face between ambition and motherhood, trusting God's timing, and why this season may not be delaying your future, it may actually be preparing you for it. If you've ever felt torn between the work you're called to do and the people you're called to love, this episode is for you. What if you're not falling behind? What if you're being formed? The One Thing That Helps You Stop Feeling Behind All the Time
2026/05/26
269- Maybe you've been craving more peace, more joy, or just a little less chaos in your day-to-day life. But instead of feeling calm and clear, you feel like you're constantly trying to keep up. There are always dishes to do, emails to answer, errands to run, meals to plan, goals to chase, and somehow you're supposed to remember all of it while also being present for the people you love. If you're ambitious, you probably have a list of things you'd like to improve too. Your health. Your finances. Your home. Your business. Your relationships. And while it's easy to assume the answer is more discipline, more motivation, or better time management, what if the real solution is something much simpler? A system. In this episode, I'm sharing a story that reminded me just how important systems are and why they might be one of the most overlooked keys to creating more peace, joy, and freedom in our lives. Because anything we do repeatedly deserves a system. And when we don't have one, we end up carrying the mental load ourselves. In this episode, I talk about: • Why so many of us feel overwhelmed even when we're doing our best • The hidden cost of making the same decisions over and over again • How a simple system can reduce stress and create more peace • Why motivation isn't the answer to recurring problems • The connection between systems, energy, and mental load • Areas of life that may be asking for more structure right now • Questions to help you identify where a new system could make life easier If you've been feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or frustrated that life feels harder than it needs to, this episode is an invitation to stop carrying everything in your head and start creating systems that support the life you want to live. What Happens When You Finally Trust Your Intuition?
2026/05/12
268- In this episode, I’m sharing a vulnerable story about a situation I knew deep down I should have left sooner. The signs were there. The tension was there. My intuition kept whispering to me that something wasn’t aligned… but I stayed longer than I should have because part of me was still trying to make it work, justify it, or settle for what was in front of me. And honestly? I think so many of us do this. We ignore the quiet nudges. We talk ourselves out of what we know. We convince ourselves that asking for more is unrealistic, selfish, or too risky. But what I’ve realized is this: when you finally trust your intuition and believe that more is possible for your life, relationships, career, peace, energy, or future… you start making decisions differently. And that’s when new possibilities begin to open. In this episode, I talk about: The signs I saw but ignored Why we often stay in misaligned situations longer than we should How fear, comfort, and scarcity can cloud intuition What happened when I finally listened to myself Why believing for “more” changes what you allow, pursue, and create The peace and alignment that come from trusting yourself again If you’ve been feeling a quiet nudge that something in your life needs to change, this episode is your reminder that your intuition is there for a reason. Sometimes the life you actually want starts the moment you stop settling for what you don't want. Connect with Ang: Instagram: @angbarnard Website: angbarnard.com Email: [email protected]
