Description

Learn about Stem Cells Treatment, and how to improve your health with it. Stem cells are cells in the body that have a remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types and tissues. In many tissues, stem cells serve as a type of internal repair system, dividing without limit to replenish and repair other cells in the body. When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential either to remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.

Sexual Wellness Podcast
2026/06/21
Why do so many people accept declining sexual health as a normal part of aging? In this episode, we explore the physical and biological changes that can lead to reduced libido, decreased sexual performance, and a loss of intimacy in both women and men. We discuss how these changes show up differently between the sexes, why they occur, and the impact they can have on overall well-being and relationships. We also take a closer look at Stem Cell Therapy and its potential role in supporting sexual wellness, improving function, and addressing some of the underlying factors associated with sexual decline. Stem Cells for Spinal Cord Injuries
2026/06/16
In this podcast, Dr. Zahra Figueredo discusses how stem cell therapy, combined with physical rehabilitation, is advancing the treatment of spinal cord injuries and offering new possibilities for recovery. Spinal cord injuries are classified based on the degree of damage. An incomplete injury means that some nerve function remains below the site of injury, while a complete injury results in a total loss of sensory and motor function below the affected area. Initial treatment focuses on stabilizing the spine and reducing inflammation to prevent further damage. From there, treatment plans vary depending on the location and severity of the injury. Recovery often involves a comprehensive rehabilitation program, including physical therapy, to help patients regain function, improve mobility, and maximize their independence in daily life. Tune in as Dr. Figueredo explains the science behind stem cell therapy, the challenges of spinal cord injury recovery, and the promising developments shaping the future of regenerative medicine.

Stem Cell Healing Institute - What can I do if I have Sexual Dysfunction? Dr. Zahra responds to the question.
2024/10/16
What is Sexual Dysfunction? and how it affects both men and women? Depending on the root cause of the dysfunction--whether it may be nerve damage, tissue and/or blood vessel damage, or another underlying condition such as diabetes that is causing the dysfunction--stem cells with other nutrients are administered intravenously (IV) as well as transplanted directly to the area. This ensures that the stem cells reach  the desired area through the blood as well as locally wherever the blood doesn't reach. We here at SCHI will address the root cause of the problem and treat the patient with adjunctive therapies in order to ensure a positive response to treatment, without simply just treating the symptoms which may result in recurrence of the erectile dysfunction if not addressed in an appropriate manner. We are dedicated to obtain the best results clinically possible for each individual patient and will address each individual patient as such. Erectile dysfunction (ED) commonly results from endothelial dysfunction and erectile nerve damage. Recent researches have focused on the preclinical studies of stem cell-based therapies targeted at repairing penile endothelium and protecting erectile nerves. Early studies showed that stem cell- or gene-modified stem cell-based therapies may have enduring efficacy and eventually lead to a cure for ED. Such stem cells as embryonic, mesenchymal, muscle-derived and adipose-derived ones and endothelial progenitor cells all have differentiation potentials and obvious advantages in protecting and repairing both nervi erigentes and corpus cavernosum vascular endothelial cells. Stem cell-based therapies promise to be an effective approach to human erectile dysfunction. How can SCHI help you? Using the inherent capacity of the body's ability to revitalize, defy aging, and re-energize, we can impact almost every aspect of your well-being with your own stem cells administered through intravenous (IV) infusion. This method allows the stem cells to be deployed everywhere the blood flows, literally bathing the cells of the body with their regenerating benefits. Because your stem cells have the natural ability to regenerate, rejuvenate, and reverse deterioration in organs and tissues, the impact can be seen and felt in numerous ways.
Stem Cell Healing Institute - Healing any type of Diabetes with Stem Cells Therapy
2024/10/16
What is diabetes? Diabetes is a condition where the body has problems to control blood sugar levels. There are two main types pf diabetes. In diabetes type 1, the body has an immune response to it's own beta cells and damages and destroy said cells. In diabetes type 2, is when not enough insulin is produced or the insulin that is produced does not work properly making the body's cell insulin resistant. Type 2 diabetes is manageable with the proper diet and exercise in most cases whereas type 1 diabetes requires that patients test their blood sugar levels regularly and administer insulin as necessary through an injection or a pump. How can Stem cells help with diabetes? Adipose derived mesenchymal cells, the cells we use at SCHI, are multipotent cells that can generate multiple cells lineages, including beta like cells. The cells are injected into the patient where they will allocate to the pancreas and either support the repair of beta cells in the patient or ideally differentiate into beta cells themselves which would then regulate the levels of insulin in the patient's body. Depending on the severity and the type of diabetes the patient has, the treatment, amount of cells and number of times the procedure is repeated and the results will vary. We will continue developing our technology so we will hopefully be able to offer our patients the possibility of extracting biliary tree mesenchymal stem cells, which are already pancreatic progenitors which would see the efficacy of the treatment increase.
Stem Cell Healing Institute - Sports Injuries, how Stem Cells can help you heal them and over come them
2024/10/16
Stem cells have been shown to be very effective in degenerative arthritis and sports injuries. Arthritis involves the breakdown of articular cartilage as the result of disease and/or damage similar to cartilage damage of sports injuries. Articular cartilage is found particularly in the joints of the body such as hips, knees, shoulders, spine, and pelvis. When the smooth gliding surfaces of the joint are no longer intact, arthritis occurs causing inflammation, pain, swelling and stiffness. More than 37 million Americans are affected by arthritis, a potentially debilitating conditions. Conventional methods used to treat arthritis and sports injuries (involving damaged joints, tendons, and/or ligaments) include anti-inflammatories, physical therapy, analgesics, and common surgery.  Alternative methods are used as well and typically include glucosamine, chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, and methysulfonylmethane (MSM). Stem cell therapy is increasingly being used for arthritis and sports injuries and is very effective in not only alleviating pain, but regenerating the damaged cartilage or tendon.  Many professional athletes are now turning to stem cell therapy to treat there injuries and see faster results and recovery.  Depending on the patient and their needs, we use a combination of  stem cell therapy combined with the growth factors in PRP, along with hyaluronic acid (if indicated) to treat their ailments.
