Chloe sits down with Brooke McIntosh, record-breaker, mental fitness advocate, and the fastest and youngest woman to run 14,200 kilometers around Australia. From the outside, Brooke had the picture-perfect life. high-earning FIFO work, holidays, and good times. the next: why sport can forecast injuries, but still fails to stop them
2026/09/02
THE NEXT is a monthly podcast from The Female Athlete Project. Each episode, futurist and former athlete Reanna Browne joins Chloe and Bez to explore what’s changing in women’s sport, before it hits the headlines. This week: The Evolution of Sports Tech & Data Privacy: As predictive tools and biological surveillance scale faster than public science, female athletes face emerging risks around data sovereignty, contract security, and shifted institutional liability.
