Season 3, Episode 1: Somehow me thinking about why I love learning French when I’ve historically hated language learning leads me to discussing ADA, unfair resource distribution in South Africa, why God is not at fault for poverty and the shortcomings of communism as an alternative to capitalism. Also I’m back! The application that I used to make these episodes has essentially died, but the shell of its former self allows me to upload still. It will take me some time to figure out how to edit, re-record and brand my content without the tools that I used to be able to access, so please be patient with me!

Season 3, Episode 9: I share with Teviah my discoveries and thoughts while reading the book, "The Invention of Women" by Oyèrónkẹ́ Oyěwùmí. We then go back and forth relating it to personal lived experiences and some of my other readings in my Gender and Sexuality in African History class.

Season 3 Episode 4: Had to just release my thoughts on the show. It’s brilliant, not what I was expecting and it got me thinking. Something I didn’t say but I was on the edge of describing is the ways in which misogynoir may make the audience stop sympathizing and start stereotyping and that careful balance of who the audience is and if Swarm managed to stop sympathy for murders but increase sympathy for black women?

Season 2 Episode 32 This is a topic I am still thinking about the nuts and bolts. To be clear, fictional murder, aka death as a significant storytelling tool and violence as a symbolic device in fiction, is what intrigues me, more so because of the project I am working on but also in general. Season 2, Episode 31: As a current Christian, I chose to refer to God as the Christian God in order to respect other people's beliefs. I know that it can be difficult to navigate these waters as unfortunately my religion has been utilized violently and negatively against other beliefs, nations and people. I try my best to remain respectful, sympathetic and understanding of everyone's beliefs. I hope that this episode provides some perspective. I recorded this on Sunday, 27th November 2022. Season 2, Episode 30: Hey Everyone, today I talk about the American history of Thanksgiving and how its myth perpetrates racism. Remember that land treaties are not being protected. Remember that indigenous woman are still going missing and being murdered. Remember the history of US settler colonialism and eugenics. Please note, I laugh when I feel frustrated, awkward or I struggle to articulate myself. Equality will always feel like oppression to people who are accustomed to privilege (paraphasing Franklin Leonard). Something I wanted to add quickly but should be addressed more fully in a separate episode is gun culture and mass shootings could be another sign of and aspect of USA's sociopathic culture. America has the highest amount of serial killers in the world and in my brief search, I could not determine if this included colonizers as well, though I doubt it.
