God Handed a Key to a Fallen Star. Why?
2026/09/19
Revelation 9 opens with a disturbing scene: a star falls from heaven, and to this fallen being is given the key to the bottomless pit.
Why would a fallen star be given access to a place God had shut up? What came out when the pit was opened? And why were the strange locust-like beings that emerged forbidden to touch grass, trees, or anything green, yet permitted to torment men?
In this episode, Pastor Bo looks closely at the language of Revelation 9: the fallen star, the key, the abyss, the smoke, the locusts, the scorpion-like power, the limits placed on them, and the authority behind their release.
The closer you look, the stranger the passage becomes.
These are not ordinary locusts. They do not behave like ordinary locusts. John describes beings that look like horses prepared for battle, wear crowns like gold, and are sent after people rather than vegetation.
What exactly was John seeing?
And what does this passage reveal about spiritual realities beyond what the natural eye can see?
Revelation 9 may be saying far more than many believers have stopped to consider.

The Bedtime Rule That Outlived My Mother
2026/08/23
Every night before bed, my mother made us read a Psalm. No exceptions. Decades after she passed, I'm still living off that inheritance.
In this episode, I share how a childhood bedtime discipline became muscle memory for my soul, a discipline for my siblings and me, and a reflex that showed up at hospital bedsides, in moments of grief, and in decisions that could've gone either way. I unpack Philippians 4:9 and 2 Timothy 1:5 to show why what we deposit in our children matters more than what we explain to them.
If someone poured Scripture into you before you knew you'd need it, this one's for you.

Is Restitution Required for Salvation? What the New Testament Actually Says
2026/06/06
There is a belief circulating in many Christian circles, sometimes as a quiet assumption, sometimes as a bold declaration, at other times as a doctrinal teaching, that a person cannot be truly saved without first making restitution for wrongs they have committed.
Pay back what you stole. Restore what you damaged. Correct what you wronged. Otherwise, you cannot be truly saved, and God may not receive you.
It sounds holy. It sounds responsible. It even sounds biblical
But is it the gospel?
In this short episode, I take you on a journey to examine the story of Zacchaeus, the most-cited proof text for restitution, and reveal that, when read carefully, it proves the exact opposite of what most people assume.
This is Part 1 of 2 in the series.

You Think You're Serving God. You May Be Serving Yourself.
2026/05/26
Some people wonder why God did not give them a one-way ticket straight to heaven the moment they give their lives to Christ to avoid the risk of falling away.
Understand that the moment you gave your life to Christ, you are already deployed.
Jesus said in Luke 19:13, “Occupy till I come.”
Paul gave that command practical shape in Romans 12:11: “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.” and the three things God requires of every redeemed life: vocation, devotion, and service to humanity.
Why does God leave believers on earth after salvation? What does your work say about your witness? Can spiritual activity replace true devotion? And can anyone truly serve God while ignoring people?
This is a three-part message and calls believers to examine what actually counts before God and also the balance between diligence in work, fervency in spirit, and genuine service to others.
Key Scriptures: Romans 12:11, Luke 19, James 1:27, Matthew 5:16, Proverbs 22:29.

Is Tithing Required For New Testament Christians?
2026/05/17
Is tithing required for New Testament Christians, or does it belong to the Old Covenant?
In this teaching, Pastor Bo examines the difference between Old Testament tithing and New Testament giving, showing why believers must understand the covenant they are standing in.
The issue is not whether Christians should give. New Testament believers are called to give generously, sacrificially, and responsibly to the fellowship and household of faith. But giving under grace is not the same as being placed back under the law.
This message challenges the common practice of taking tithing from the Old Covenant while ignoring the rest of the law. If Christ has finished the work, then believers must learn to walk fully in the New Covenant, led by the Holy Spirit, not by selective religious obligation.
In this teaching, you will hear about:

How Your Speech Shapes Your Eternity
2025/08/22
How Your Speech Shapes Your Eternity calls Christians out to the profound spiritual significance of words we speak as humans.
1. Every word is recorded in heaven and will be accounted for in judgment.
2. "Idle words" are not merely profanity but also careless, useless, or unkind speech that carries eternal consequences.
3. Words are powerful tools, capable of creating or destroying, reflecting God's own creative power.
4. Mindfulness and intentionality in communication, offering practical advice such as pausing before speaking, praying for guidance, and filtering words through criteria of truth, necessity, and kindness.
5. Use words to speak life and reflect God's love.

The Transformative Power of Forgiveness
2024/12/07
Reading about forgiveness in the Bible, we discover that forgiveness is more than just an act of kindness; it’s a path to absolute freedom. Forgiving someone truly releases them from the prison of our judgment, but, incredibly, the person truly being set free is ourselves.
Let’s take a closer look at why forgiveness is so powerful and central to the Christian life, how it unlocks freedom, and how, in Christ, forgiveness is not just possible, but also liberating.
The Weeping Prophet Part 2: When God Shows You What Is Coming
2024/11/18
This prophetic message comes from 2 Kings 8 and the story of three people: King Ben-Hadad of Syria, his servant Hazael, and the prophet Elisha.
Why did Elisha weep when he looked at Hazael? What did he see that made a prophet break down in tears? And why do we have many speaking prophets today, but very few weeping prophets?
In this episode, Pastor Bo teaches on the burden of prophetic insight, the danger of human ambition, and the sobering reality that God may reveal what is coming before others can see it. True prophetic ministry is not entertainment. It carries weight, grief, discernment, and responsibility.
This is Part 2 of The Weeping Prophet series.

The Three Callings of Every Believer
2024/10/29
In Mark 3:14-15, Jesus ordained the twelve for three clear purposes: first, that they should be with Him; second, that He might send them forth to preach; and third, that they would have power to heal sicknesses and cast out devils.
This episode explores those three callings as the pattern of every believer’s spiritual growth.
Before Jesus sends anyone, He first calls them into fellowship. The first assignment is not ministry, preaching, visibility, or public work. It is to be with Him. To learn His ways. To hear His voice. To know His heart. To be shaped in the secret place before being sent into the public place.
Then comes the calling to preach. But preaching is not self-promotion or religious pressure. It is the overflow of being with Christ. The believer is sent with a message after being formed by the Master.
Finally, there is the calling into power. Jesus gave authority to heal sicknesses and cast out devils, but power ministry is not for spiritual recklessness. It requires maturity, obedience, preparation, and deep fellowship with Christ.
This message challenges every believer to ask: What stage am I in? Am I still being formed? Am I being sent to preach? Or am I being entrusted with greater spiritual authority?
A timely teaching on discipleship, spiritual maturity, ministry, evangelism, and the believer’s authority in Christ.
5 Lessons From The Parable of The Talents
2024/10/17
FULL ARTICLE | Your Gift Is Not Yours to Keep | Read Here
Matthew Chapter 25:14-30.
This parable is a very powerful lesson on stewardship and accountability. It teaches us about using what God has given us for His glory.
Here are five key lessons we can draw from this parable to apply to our lives at the moment:
1. God has given everyone a talent
No matter how small it may seem, God has placed a gift or a talent in every one of us, just like the servants in the parable. Some may have received more, some less, but everyone has been entrusted with somethingvaluable.
Today, ask yourself: What has God placed in my hands?
The Bible says in Romans 12:6:"We have different gifts according to the grace given to each of us."
Your gift is according to your grace, the grace the Lord has determined you can handle. The Bible says God is so gracious that He will give grace before glory. Because if God were to give glory without grace, the glory could overwhelm you.
2. Your talent matches your ability
We often fall into the trap of comparing our talent to other people’s. But in the parable, Jesus teaches us that God gives us according to our ability.
So, look at your talent. If you have what you consider a small talent, be grateful because God has deemed that it is what you can effectively use. He doesn't give you something that will crush you under its weight.
Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on what you've been given and how you can use it for His glory and His Kingdom.
In Luke 12:48 says, "To whom much is given, much is required."
3. Faithfulness brings reward
The faithful servant who wisely invested his talents was rewarded—with more responsibility. Jesus said in the book of John, "The tree that bears fruit is pruned so it can bear more fruit."
God is not just concerned with the size of your gift but with how faithful you are with it. He cannot entrust you with more until you are faithful with what you’ve already been given.
When you use what He has given you, even in small ways, it will increase your capacity.
4. Fear is an obstacle to progress
Take a moment to look at the servant who buried his talent. He was paralyzed by fear. He was afraid to fail, afraid to lose what was given to him. How often do we allow fear to stop us from using the gifts God has given to us?
Remember the two blind men who cried out to Jesus for mercy, even though the crowd tried to silence them? When the crowd or circumstances tell you to be quiet, that’s the time to shout louder.
Don’t let fear of failure or comparison keep you from stepping out in faith. Break the fear mindset! The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.
5. We are accountable to God for our talents
The master in the parable returned and asked the servants to give an account of how they used their talents. One day, you and I will stand before God to give an account of how we’ve used the gifts He has placed in our lives.
You've got a gift inside of you. There is something you can do better than anyone else. Don’t let that gift lie dormant.
Reflect on these lessonsTake a moment today to consider what talent God has entrusted into your hands, not only for your sake but for the sake of others and for the glory of God. Are you using your talent to its full potential, or are you letting it go unused?
Ask God for courage to step out in faith and commit your talent to His service. As you do this, He will empower you to do even more.
1. God has given everyone a talent
2. Your talent matches your ability
3. Faithfulness brings reward
4. Fear is an obstacle to progress
5. We are accountable to God for our talents
