Proverbs 31

Welcome to Day 31 of the Proverb a Day Challenge!
Today, we dive into Proverbs 31 where we talk about how the sayings of a Mother impact us and the benefit of a Wife to her Husband.
✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “Wise People know that their lives are greatly enriched by Women”. The book of Proverbs ends the same way it begins. Proverbs 1:7 says, “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” And then it ends with Proverbs 31:30, “…but a woman who Fears the Lord will be praise.” How incredible, how intentional and beautiful is our God to end such a practical life giving book with an emphasis on the gift of Women.
The FIELD: If you're wanting to grow in self-awareness and emotional intelligence to build a better marriage, healthier relationships, increase your leadership, be a better pastor, a great friend, and have a deeper walk with Christ, join "The FIELD".

✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “Wise People are confident and unhurried people.” One of my good friends Bruce taught me is, “Jesus was never moved at the tyranny of urgency.” He also wasn’t moved out of business.

✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “Wise people are Accountable People”. They’re not lazy and to those who are lazy, do your loved ones have permission to call it out. Welcome to Day 26 of the Proverb a Day Challenge!
Today, we dive into Proverbs 26 and explore being able to identify fools, lazy people and gossipers. Not only is it important on how to recognize them, but also admit that we too have it within ourselves.
✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “We need to have Wisdom with Foolish people and we need to have Patience with Foolish People”. Sometimes foolish people aren’t arrogant or cocky. Sometimes they’re just ignorant meaning they just don’t know. And sometimes foolish people are individuals who are hurting internally and they haven’t deal with the pain that’s harmed them. Let’s not forget that you too have been there and God has dealt with us with grace and kindness and so should we.

Today, we dive into Proverbs 25 and discuss the importance of being able to receive valid criticism, self-control and when we need to recognize our tiredness so we can get back into the game of life.
✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “Wise People acknowledge their Fatigue”. Hebrews 12:12 tells us, “So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.” That verse already implies that we are allowed to be tired, weary and burdened. But do you allow yourself to take a break so you can get back into the game?

✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “God is with those who depend on Him”. Do you learn from the moments when you trip, fall or fail? When we take the time to invite God into that process through the Holy Spirit, we’re able to see rightly through his lenses which empowers us to keep moving forward with God.

Welcome to Day 23 of the Proverb a Day Challenge!
Today, we dive into Proverbs 23 and we discuss the importance of accepting discipline. Not only is it a responsibility as a parent to physically discipline our kids, but also in other areas of our life. But we as a parent, teacher, pastor, mentor also must be worthy of following so others can appropriately listen to you.
✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “Wise People don’t just know how to live out Wisdom, they Duplicate it.” The truest test of Wisdom is not just our ability to carry out understanding but we’re able to invest that into someone else.

Welcome to Day 22 of the Proverb a Day Challenge!
Today, we dive into Proverbs 22 and we use the story of Joseph to learn what it means to be a person of “Good Reputation” and to be “Prudent”. 3 things we learn from His story is:
1. God was with Joseph
2. Others noticed God was with Joseph
3. Joseph was trusted
✅ Our "Wise Takeaway" is “Wise People don’t blame their situation or circumstances, they change them.” Wise people are quick to not be victims of what’s taken place in their life, but adapt to it, learn from it and do something about it. Let’s do the same thing!
