Hello everyone This podcast was recorded right before TBC Classic was launched and the gates were opened. Season 2 of Goarr and Apox begins with a discussion of the absolute classic Baldur's Gate. A game published by Black Isle and developed by Bioware this is one of the granddaddies of modern day RPG's.  The game had fantastic visuals, a great story, it was easy to pick up and play but it was also had an extraordinary amount of depth. Today I interview both Apox and our special guest Espresso about the appeal of legendary MMO Everquest. The game was the huge hit MMO before World of Warcraft and I missed out on the experience however these two guys played it back then and still continue to play and enjoy it to this day. Let's find out why. Just a quick warning, the bot I use to help with my recording broke down a few times during the recording session so I stitched it back together the best I could. Apox and I were there for all of WoW vanilla and now we have been here for all of WoW Classic and for two games that are supposedly the same they are actually feel very very different. What makes a great RPG Hero? Is it the freedom to do whatever you want and craft your narrative or is it playing a well pre-determined and well defined character with a story and a voice. In this episode Apox and I discuss our favorite heroes and the types of heroes we enjoy the most and wouldn't you know we both value different things when playing an RPG and creating a hero. Can the Batman vs Superman debate help us pin down what we value in our heroes. I guess you will find out in this week's podcast. 

Naxxramas is upon us and the bell has begun to toll for World of Warcraft Classic. In today's episode with roughly one month to go we touch upon preparation for Naxxramas not only the in game prep but the mental prep as well.  This will be the end of our re-visit to vanilla WoW and vanilla Azeroth but where does that leave the players and what might we expect as WoW Classic winds itself down.  Let us know what you think.
