Matthew 27:3-10 and Acts 1:18,19 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Mat 27:4  Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. Mat 27:5  And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. Mat 27:6  And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. Mat 27:7  And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. Mat 27:8  Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. Mat 27:9  Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; Mat 27:10  And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me. Act 1:18  Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. Act 1:19  And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. Adios! To God!

Mark 15:1, Mat 27: 1-2, Luke 22:66-71. Mrk 15:1  And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. Mat 27:1  When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: Mat 27:2  And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor. Jesus Before the Council Luk 22:66  And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying, Luk 22:67  Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: Luk 22:68  And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Luk 22:69  Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Luk 22:70  Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. S2E156b Peter Thrice Denies his Lord Luk 22:54  Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off. Luk 22:56  But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him. Luk 22:57  And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not. Luk 22:58  And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not. Luk 22:59  And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean. Luk 22:60  And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. Luk 22:61  And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Luk 22:62  And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. Mrk 14:54  And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire. Mrk 14:66  And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest: Mrk 14:67  And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth. Mrk 14:68  But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the c**k crew. Mrk 14:69  And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them. Mrk 14:70  And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto. Mrk 14:71  But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak. Mrk 14:72  And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept. Mat 26:58  But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end. Mat 26:69  Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. Mat 26:70  But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. Mat 26:71  And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. Mat 26:72  And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. Mat 26:73  And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Jhn 18:24  Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest. Mrk 14:53  And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes. Mrk 14:54  And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire. Mrk 14:55  And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. Mrk 14:56  For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together. Mrk 14:57  And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, Mrk 14:58  We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. Mrk 14:59  But neither so did their witness agree together. Mrk 14:60  And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? Mrk 14:61  But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? Mrk 14:62  And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Mrk 14:63  Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? Mrk 14:64  Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death. Mrk 14:65  And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands. Mat 26:57  And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. Mat 26:58  But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end. Mat 26:59  Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; Mat 26:60  But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, Mat 26:61  And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. Mat 26:62  And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? Mat 26:63  But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Mat 26:64  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Mat 26:65  Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. Mat 26:66  What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death. Mat 26:67  Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, Mat 26:68  Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee? Luk 22:63  And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. Jhn 18:14  Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. Jhn 18:15  And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. Jhn 18:16  But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. Jhn 18:17  Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not. Jhn 18:18  And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. Jhn 18:19  The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. Jhn 18:20  Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. Jhn 18:21  Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. Jhn 18:22  And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? Jhn 18:23  Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

Jhn 18:2  And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. Jhn 18:3  Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jhn 18:4  Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? Jhn 18:5  They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. Jhn 18:6  As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Jhn 18:7  Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jhn 18:8  Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: Jhn 18:9  That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. Jhn 18:10  Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. Jhn 18:11  Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? Jhn 18:12  Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, Jhn 18:13  And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

Mrk 14:43  And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Mrk 14:44  And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely. Mrk 14:45  And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him. Mrk 14:46  And they laid their hands on him, and took him. Mrk 14:47  And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. Mrk 14:48  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? Mrk 14:49  I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled. Mrk 14:50  And they all forsook him, and fled. A Young Man Flees Mrk 14:51  And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him: Mrk 14:52  And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked. Mat 26:47  And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Mat 26:48  Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. Mat 26:49  And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. Mat 26:50  And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. Mat 26:51  And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. Mat 26:52  Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Mat 26:53  Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? Mat 26:54  But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? Mat 26:55  In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me. Mat 26:56  But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled. Luk 22:47  And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. Luk 22:48  But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? Luk 22:49  When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? Luk 22:50  And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. Luk 22:51  And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him. Luk 22:52  Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? Luk 22:53  When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

John18:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. Luk 22:39  And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. Luk 22:40  And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. Luk 22:41  And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Luk 22:42  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Luk 22:43  And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. Luk 22:44  And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Luk 22:45  And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, Luk 22:46  And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. Mrk 14:26  And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Mrk 14:32  And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. Mrk 14:33  And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; Mrk 14:34  And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. Mrk 14:35  And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. Mrk 14:36  And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. Mrk 14:37  And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? Mrk 14:38  Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. Mrk 14:39  And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words. Mrk 14:40  And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him. Mrk 14:41  And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Mrk 14:42  Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand. Mat 26:30  And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Mat 26:41  Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Mat 26:42  He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. Mat 26:43  And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. Mat 26:44  And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Mat 26:45  Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Mat 26:46  Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me. A Dios! To God!

Jhn 17:14  I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Jhn 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. Jhn 17:16  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Jhn 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Jhn 17:18  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. Jhn 17:19  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Jhn 17:20  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Jhn 17:21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Jhn 17:22  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: Jhn 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Jhn 17:24  Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Jhn 17:25  O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. Jhn 17:26  And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. A Dios! To God!

Jhn 17:1  These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: Jhn 17:2  As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. Jhn 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Jhn 17:4  I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. Jhn 17:5  And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Jhn 17:6  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Jhn 17:7  Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. Jhn 17:8  For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. Jhn 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Jhn 17:10  And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. Jhn 17:11  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. Jhn 17:12  While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. Jhn 17:13  And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. A Dios! To God!

John 16:16-33 16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. 17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? 18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith. 19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. 22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. 23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. 25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. 26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. 29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. 30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. 31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? 32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. A Dios! To God!

Jhn 16:4  But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. Jhn 16:5  But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? Jhn 16:6  But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Jhn 16:7  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Jhn 16:8  And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Jhn 16:9  Of sin, because they believe not on me; Jhn 16:10  Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Jhn 16:11  Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. Jhn 16:12  I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Jhn 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Jhn 16:14  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Jhn 16:15  All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Jhn 15:18  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. Jhn 15:19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Jhn 15:20  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Jhn 15:21  But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. Jhn 15:22  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. Jhn 15:23  He that hateth me hateth my Father also. Jhn 15:24  If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. Jhn 15:25  But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. Jhn 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: Jhn 15:27  And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. Jhn 16:1  These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. Jhn 16:2  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. Jhn 16:3  And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
