Do you understand the Priesthood of the Believer and how it functions? 5. Do you feel you have met the requirements of the Priesthood meaning do you…      - Know that you are anointed by Jesus?      - Know you are consecrated by Jesus?      - Know you have been sanctified (purified and cleansed by Jesus)?      - Know you have been clothed in righteousness?

Do you think He condemns you, feels mad at you, and does he want to punish you? In this discussion we look at the prodigal son's father and how he responded to the son after the son did some horrible things. It's a parallel to know how God the father views us even when we do horrible things.  Possible Discussion Questions: 1. When the son came home after sinning and wasting the inheritance notice that the father didn’t gravel in the past, discuss punishment or judgement, or debate the worthiness of the son to have authority or position in the house. How does this relate to you and make you feel? 2. In your life right now do you see yourself deserving of the robe, sandals, and ring or do you feel you deserve punishment? 3. What does being clothed in righteousness mean? 4. What does having your feet shod with peace mean? 5. What does having the seal of the Holy Spirit mean? 6. How can we move from a servant mentality to a son/daughter mentality?

Originally recorded for 8/1/21 for Small Group Discussions. Why wait for things? No one really likes to wait, but yet there are amazing things that happen when we wait. We dive into why waiting is important, what happens when we wait, and how do we wait.  Possible Discussion Questions: 1. What is the biggest thing you have had to wait for in your life? Has waiting for something specific exposed weaknesses, anger, doubt, or bitterness? 2. How has waiting for something strengthened you? Discuss the scriptural benefits of waiting on the Lord 3. What do you feel is the best thing you can do while waiting on the Lord for something? 4. The Bible tells us that certain things are happening to us while we wait on the Lord. Do you sense any of the following happening in you right now while you are waiting? *Do you feel strength coming while you are waiting? *Do you feel God’s goodness while you wait? *Do you see God’s vision for your life unfolding while you wait? *Do you feel blessed while you wait? *Do you feel you are growing/maturing while you wait? Application: Identify something you are waiting on from the Lord and put together a specific strategy for waiting for it. Use scripture as your foundation.

Originally recorded for 7/25/21 for Small Group Discussions. In this discussion of Trusting The Process we cover what is God's process in our life and what is our own process in our life for growth. How do we handle God's process in our life when things get tough and what process have we established for ourselves to grow and are we sticking to it.  Possible Discussion Questions: 1. In General how do you feel about God’s process in your life so far? 2. God tells us to consider our ways. How often do you do this? And when you do consider your ways how do you do that? Example: do you get away for a weekend, just think about it during the day, do you fast, do you get with others, etc…? 3. There are two aspects to process in our life. (God’s ways and our ways) *God’s process for us or His ways for us, and which we cannot control. How do we handle this process especially when life can get tough? *Our own process or ways/habits we have established for ourselves to aid our growth in the Lord and keep us healthy. Do you have a healthy process established or are you working on it? 4. Since all things in our life generally fall under 6 categories called pillars. Do you have a process for growth in each of the six life pillars: *Spiritual - What is your process to be healthy? *Emotional - What is your process to be healthy? *Physical - What is your process to be healthy? *Relational - What is your process to be healthy? *Financial - What is your process to be healthy? *Professional/Purpose - What is your process to be healthy? 5. There are so many “one another’s” in scripture, so how can we be there for others when their process is demanding or they are at the brink of giving up?  *Talk about what the responsibility is of the person going through the process? *Talk about what the responsibility is of the one helping a person going through the process? 6. If you don’t have a good process right now for growth do you know someone who does that you could call and ask for help?

Jesus brought new wine to earth and that new wine was a new way of doing things, a new way to live, and a new way to love. Is God trying to teach you something new? Are you willing to embrace the expansion that is needed in your heart for this new thing God wants to do in your life? Possible Discussion Questions: 1. What kind of wineskin are you - Are you naturally flexible/pliable or rigid and resist change? 2. What does holding onto an old wineskin really giving you?  What is it really costing you? 3. Where do I feel “stretched” or “thin” like God is attempting to put new wine into my old wineskin? In other words, what is a new wineskin the Lord is asking you to put on? 4. What do you believe was the new wineskin the Lord gave the Church in 2020? 5. Why is change so hard for us, especially with church and spiritual things? 6. For those that have been Christians a long time do you feel your spiritual best years are behind you or in front of you?
