The Girl in Room 105 is a famous and different book by celebrated writer Chetan Bhagat which comes under the genre of suspense thriller. It is translated into Marathi by Suvarna Abhyankar. How careful the translator has to be while translation suspense thrillers to make sure that the suspense remains the suspense till the very end, what is the process of translation the English and Hindi words which are used so often by the young generation into Marathi without losing the spontaneity and natural flow of the language and how it is done will be very interesting to know for Marathi readers. Translation of 'self help' books demand easy language, should keep in mind a cross section of readers while translating. Seven Habits is designed in a particular way.  It has peculiar words and concepts.  It is interesting to understand how these points are highlighted in its Marathi translation. Mills and Boon love stories are an unique genre in itself. कित्येक वर्ष लोकांच्या मनावर गारूड करणारी हॅरी पॉटर मालिका. तिचा आठवा भाग सुरू होतो सातव्या भागातील कथाभागानंतर एकोणीस वर्षांनी. तो लिहिला आहे नाट्यरूपात. अशा आगळ्यावेगळ्या फँटसीचा अनुवाद अतिशय वाचनीय आहे. तो रंजक, वाचनीय होण्यामागे अनुवादकांची प्रतिभा, अभ्यास, विचार किती महत्त्वाचे आहेत हे समजून घेण्यासारखे आहे. किशोरवयातील हॅरी या पुस्तकात एक प्रेमळ पिता, जादू मंत्रालयाचा जबाबदार कर्मचारी म्हणून आपल्या समोर येतो. तरी त्याचा हळवेपणा तसाच आहे आणि लहानपणीची मैत्रीही घट्ट टिकून आहे आणि तेव्हाचा द्वेषही अजून तितकाच ताजा आहे. पुस्तक अतिशय लोकप्रिय आहे आणि त्यांच्यावरच्या चित्रपटांमुळे वाचकांच्या डोळ्यांसमोर काही प्रतिमाही तयार झाल्या आहेत. अशा आव्हानात्मक साहित्यकृतीचा तितकाच समर्थ अनुवाद केला आहे शिरीष सहस्रबुद्धेआणि डॉ. सोनल सहस्रबुद्धे यांनी. उज्ज्वला आणि विदुला यांनी या दोघांशी मारलेल्या गप्पांमधून अनुवादाचे अनेक पैलू उलगडले आहेत. हॅरी पॉटर आणि शापित पुत्र ही मराठी  छापील आवृत्ती इथे उपलब्ध आहे. मूळ इंग्रजी पुस्तक print edition, ebook edition with audio/video  इथे उपलब्ध आहे.
