Episode 226: The Curse of The Crow & Nigeria’s House of Horrors
2026/10/29
Happy Halloween! Amy Traydon and Monique Sanchez are back with two disturbing stories that blur the line between tragedy, conspiracy, and real-life horror. From the alleged curse surrounding a cult-classic film to a horrifying discovery deep in a Nigerian forest, this episode explores tragic coincidences, shocking crimes, and mysteries that remain unresolved. Amy kicks things off with the alleged curse of The Crow, the 1994 film starring Brandon Lee. What began as a troubled production was plagued by accidents, dangerous working conditions, and a series of unsettling incidents. The tragedy reached its devastating conclusion when Lee was fatally shot on set just days before filming was scheduled to wrap. Amy examines the circumstances surrounding his death, the eerie parallels between his life and the film’s story, and the events that fueled rumors of a curse. But was there something supernatural at work, or was this a heartbreaking tragedy made even stranger by coincidence? Then Monique takes us to the Nigerian House of Horrors in Soka Forest, near Ibadan, Nigeria. When a local motorcycle taxi driver named Kazim disappeared, his colleagues received desperate messages revealing that he was being held captive underground. Their search led them to a dilapidated building filled with shackled survivors, human remains, and evidence of horrifying crimes. As more victims were discovered and disturbing allegations of ritual killings and organ harvesting emerged, questions mounted about who was responsible and how such atrocities could have gone unnoticed. Despite the rescue of survivors and several arrests, Kazim was never found, and no one was convicted. Join Amy and Monique for an episode filled with unsettling coincidences, horrific discoveries, and stories that leave you questioning how much of the truth remains buried. Content warning: This episode includes discussions of fatal on-set violence, murder, kidnapping, captivity, mutilation, human remains, and alleged ritual killings and organ harvesting. Episode 225: The Headless Horseman & The Beast of Jersey
2026/10/22
Spooky Season continues and Amy Traydon and Monique Sanchez are back with two chilling stories that bring together centuries-old folklore, paranormal encounters, and horrifying true crime. From the legendary Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow to a predator who terrorized the island of Jersey for more than a decade, this episode explores the terrifying stories that haunt us, whether they come from folklore or real life. Monique kicks things off with the history of the Headless Horseman, tracing the origins of this iconic figure through Irish, Scottish, Welsh, German, and American folklore. From the Irish Dullahan, a headless harbinger of death, to the historical events that may have inspired Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, she explores the legends, historical connections, and cultural fears behind one of America’s most enduring ghost stories. She also shares a chilling account of a family whose encounters with a mysterious headless rider span three generations, raising the question of whether the legendary figure could be more than just a story. Then Amy takes us to the island of Jersey to investigate the Beast of Jersey, a serial predator whose attacks terrorized the community for years. As the crimes escalated and investigators struggled to identify the perpetrator, the case exposed troubling questions about the investigation and how the attacks continued for so long. Amy examines the disturbing details, conflicting historical accounts, and eventual identification of Edward Paisnel, revealing a real-life horror story that left both hosts shocked and enraged. Join Amy and Monique for an episode filled with headless apparitions, unsettling family encounters, disturbing crimes, and the dark histories that refuse to stay buried. Episode 224: The Face Peelers Of Peru & The Keddie Cabin Murders
2026/10/15
Happy October, horror lovers! Amy Traydon and Monique Sanchez are back with two disturbing stories that blur the line between the paranormal, true crime, and conspiracy. From terrifying reports of mysterious flying beings attacking Indigenous communities in Peru to a brutal family massacre in a quiet Northern California mountain town, this episode is packed with horrifying details, suspicious suspects, and questions that remain unanswered. Amy kicks things off with the Face Peelers of Peru, a bizarre series of reported attacks involving mysterious armored figures, strange technology, and victims whose faces were allegedly removed with surgical precision. As she and Monique explore possible explanations ranging from extraterrestrials to illegal mining operations and secret military technology, one question looms over everything: Who or what are the Face Peelers, and why are they targeting people? Then Monique takes us back to April 1981 and the infamous Keddie Cabin murders. The brutal killings of Sue Sharp, her son Johnny, and his friend Dana Wingate, alongside the disappearance and eventual discovery of Sue’s daughter Tina, exposed a deeply troubling investigation filled with missed leads, suspicious suspects, and mishandled evidence. As the decades-long investigation unfolded, disturbing allegations of a cover-up emerged, leaving the case unresolved despite renewed efforts and DNA evidence. Join Amy and Monique for an October episode full of unsettling mysteries, questionable official explanations, and the kind of real-world horror that makes you wonder who you can actually trust. Content warning: This episode includes graphic descriptions of violence, murder, child abuse, and sexual assault. Sexual assault is mentioned without detailed description. Episode 223: The Ghost Box & Tarrare's Disturbing Appetite
2026/10/08
This week on Another F*cking Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy kick off spooky season with two wildly different stories: one paranormal, one historical, and both completely unhinged. Monique starts with the story of Beth Brown, a longtime paranormal investigator and self-described “hopeful skeptic” who spent decades trying to find logical explanations for the unexplained. Her skepticism is put to the test when she attends a psychic reading featuring a mysterious ghost box. When the device produces messages containing private family details, including the childhood nickname of Beth’s deceased father, she is forced to confront an experience she can’t easily explain. Things get even stranger when, during a later investigation at the Mason House Inn, a voice Beth immediately recognizes as her late father-in-law comes through the box saying, “Hey girl.” Afterward, paranormal activity follows Beth home, eventually becoming so overwhelming that she walks away from her career in paranormal research.  Then Amy absolutely horrifies Monique with the insane story of Tarrare, an 18th-century French man whose appetite was so extreme that he could eat his own body weight in food and still be hungry. After being kicked out of his home, he became a traveling sideshow act, swallowing everything from corks and stones to live animals.  Tarrare later entered the military and briefly served as a spy, using his ability to eat anything to transport secret documents. After his first mission went horribly awry, he returned to the military hospital and begged the doctors to cure him. But nothing worked. Then during his stay there, a 14-month-old child mysteriously disappeared, and the hospital staff immediately suspected that Tarrare was responsible. The accusation was never proven, but it became one of the most infamous parts of his story. This episode has a haunted inn, a ghost box, secret family nicknames, a dead father-in-law saying “Hey girl,” an 18th-century human garbage disposal, cannibalism allegations, and one deeply disturbing historical meme. Episode 222: Lady Grim & Deadly Victorian Fashion Trends Part II
2026/09/24
This week on Another F*cking Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy kick spooky season into high gear with a haunted Nova Scotia farm, a mysterious woman who looks suspiciously like the Grim Reaper and enough arsenic soaked Victorian fashion to make you question how anyone survived the 1800s. First, Amy tells the story of Sherry, who moves into her husband David’s childhood farmhouse and quickly realizes they aren’t alone. Her daughter wakes up claiming someone is poking her, Sherry sees a dark figure moving through the house and eventually both mother and daughter witness a hooded woman staring directly at David. Even after the family tears down the farmhouse and builds a new home, the activity continues, culminating in David’s sudden and unexplained death. Then Monique returns with Part Two of her deadly Victorian fashion series, diving into the horrifying popularity of arsenic based green dyes. From poisonous dresses and toxic socks to artificial flowers, candy and wallpaper, the Victorians apparently decided that looking fashionable was worth a little arsenic poisoning. Monique also explores the devastating consequences for factory workers like Matilda Scheurer and the widespread use of toxic pigments in Victorian homes. So, yes. This one has haunted children, a possible Grim Reaper, an unexplained death, poisonous fashion, arsenic wallpaper and another important reminder that the Victorians were absolutely f*****g wild. Episode 221: The Haunted Hallway & Joseph D. Ball aka The Alligator Man
2026/09/17
This week on Another F*cking Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy officially embrace spooky season with a haunted hospital basement, a Texas bar owner with a backyard full of alligators and enough deeply questionable decisions to make “just keep walking and don’t look back” feel like solid life advice. First, Monique takes us down to Minus Two, the mortuary level of a hospital in Northern England where a porter named Ray has spent more than two decades transporting bodies through a long, windowless basement corridor. Older staff have one very specific rule: never whistle on the way to the mortuary. Ray never did, but that apparently didn’t stop something from showing up anyway. One night, the lights change, the temperature drops, his gurney suddenly becomes impossible to push and he hears breathing right beside him. Because apparently transporting dead bodies alone at night wasn’t unsettling enough already. Then Amy heads to 1930s Elmendorf, Texas, for the story of Joseph D. Ball, a World War I veteran, bootlegger and owner of the Sociable Inn. And because a regular Texas saloon apparently wasn’t enough of a business model, Joe kept a pool of live alligators behind the bar and entertained customers by feeding them live animals. Then women connected to Joe started disappearing. After police finally came asking questions, Joe took his own life, and the investigation that followed uncovered the murders of Minnie Gotthardt and Hazel Brown. But if you’ve heard the legend of the “Alligator Man” who murdered women and fed their bodies to his gators, things get complicated. Only two murders were confirmed, several supposedly missing women were later found alive and no human remains were discovered in the alligator pond. Over the years, pulp magazines, rumors and increasingly f****d up retellings turned an already horrifying true crime case into something even more sensational. Because apparently two murdered women, a bloody axe and five backyard alligators weren’t enough for people. So, yes. This one has haunted hospital corridors, mortuary superstitions, disembodied breathing, murder, alligators, Depression era Texas chaos and the very important reminder that if an older hospital employee tells you not to whistle in the mortuary, maybe just f*****g listen. Episode 219: A Haunting at the Adelphi Theatre and Mysterious Death of Chuck Morgan
2026/08/27
This week on Another F*cking Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy are coming in hot off their Paranormal Activity live obsession, which means this is now a theater ghost podcast.  First, Monique tells the story of Jason Manford and the ghost of William Terriss at London’s Adelphi Theatre. In 2012, Jason was performing as Signor Pirelli in the West End revival of Sweeney Todd, which meant that every night he got his throat slashed onstage, went back to his tiny dressing room, cleaned off the fake blood, and FaceTimed his family before bed. Then his three-year-old daughter asked, “Daddy, who’s that man behind you?” Tall. Dark hair. Mustache. Dressed like a soldier. Crying. And then Jason found out about William Terriss, the beloved Victorian actor murdered at the Adelphi Theatre stage door in 1897. The same stage door that sat directly beneath Jason’s dressing room. GIRL.  Then Amy covers the mysterious death of Charles “Chuck” Morgan, and no one is okay. In 1977, Chuck disappeared, came home three days later missing a shoe, bound in plastic handcuffs, unable to speak and writing that he had been kidnapped and tortured. He claimed his throat had been painted with a hallucinogenic drug and warned his wife that calling the police would be a death warrant for the whole family. Two months later, he disappeared again. His wife got a call from a woman called “Green Eyes”, who said Chuck was alright and gave her Ecclesiastes 12:1-8, which is a flowery-as-f**k way to say something terrible has happened. Then Chuck was found dead in the desert wearing a bulletproof vest, shot in the back of the head, with a $2 bill pinned to his underwear, cryptic names, Bible references, a map toward Mexico, guns, ammo, handcuffs, CB radios, a briefcase and no fingerprints. And somehow, police ruled it suicide. That three year old said “I see dead people” but the episode reminds us that all around us are just dumb people (peep the police).
Episode 218: The Ghost Who Solved a Murder & Deadly Victorian Beauty Trends
2026/08/20
This week on Another F*****g Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy are going from evidential mediumship to Victorian death aesthetics, so buckle up babes, because the range on this one is aggressive.First, Amy tells the story of Ivy Sundarji, a lifelong skeptic, atheist and science-minded writer who did not believe in ghosts, mediums or any of this spooky shit. Then her fiancé Jahangir drowned in a surfing accident, the exact kind of death Ivy had once seen in a vision years earlier, and suddenly her house starts acting haunted. Then the story turns into true crime.Ivy begins seeing a little blonde girl who says “Daddy did it.” She hears the name Kayla. She sees a missing-person style image. She gets flashes of New Hampshire, cold weather, a rundown car, a duffel bag, Stark Park, Elm Street and details she has no normal way of knowing. Later, those details connect to the murder case of five-year-old Harmony Montgomery. And the coincidences are off the f*****g charts. Then Monique takes us into the Victorian era, where tuberculosis somehow became aspirational. Consumption, also known as the White Death, turned people pale, thin, weak and almost translucent. Instead of saying “that is horrific,” Victorians said “ooh, a new beauty standard!” We’re talking lead makeup, mercury creams, belladonna eye drops, arsenic wafers and radium products. Because apparently if the label says “safe,” everyone just says, “cool, let’s put rat poison in the body and see what happens.”This episode has grief, ghosts, evidence, dead people with better communication skills than the living and the most horrific of them all: toxic beauty standards.
True Listener Tales #43: The Bathroom Mirror Face, The Black-Eyed Girlfriend And The Glitch-Walking Demon
2026/08/14
This week on Another F*****g Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy are back with True Listener Tales #43, aka everyone’s reminder that real people are out here living through things that would make us simply pass away.First up, we have a sibling “prank” where a brother convinces his younger sister that he killed their mom. Not cute. Not funny. That is villain origin story behavior. Then we get into Christie’s Ouija board sleepover, where a ghost named Rasha shows up, Christie gets a violent headache, runs to the bathroom to throw up, looks in the mirror and sees a smiling figure behind her in the hallway. But that’s only the beginning. There’s Vinesh hearing his grandfather call to him right before learning he died. Then a theater ghost that apparently hates ghost lights and possibly Peter Pan. Then Sergio, praying over his girlfriend Jane before her hand shoots up, grips his wrist with inhuman strength, her eyes go fully black and something says she belongs to it. Then Bala speaking in his dead uncle’s voice at a funeral. Then a Tombstone tipping table that rejects both Marcy and a crucifix. Then grandparents who are very much not giving cute grandparent ghosts. Then Maeve’s two-dimensional shadow demon that glitch-walks toward her bed. And, finally, Anthony McNamee’s near-death experience, which ends with him back in his body and later watching a glass shoot across the room.Watch now. Then submit your own True Listener Tale at anotherfuckinghorrorpodcast.com if you have survived something equally cursed.
Episode 217: Trina’s Gettysburg Ghost Souvenir And The Matthew Nolan Oppenheimer Case
2026/08/07
This week on Another F*****g Horror Podcast, Monique and Amy are giving you a haunted honeymoon, a fake Oppenheimer and two stories where the central lesson is honestly pretty simple: stop running your mouth around forces you do not understand.First, Monique covers Trina’s Gettysburg ghost story, which starts with a honeymoon ghost tour and quickly becomes the most egregious case of “f**k around and find out” out this podcast has ever covered. Trina mocked the experience, wandered into a field connected to Civil War soldiers who had drowned after the Battle of Gettysburg, and joked about taking a ghost home as a souvenir. What happened next was a water-based horror movie that’ll make you perk right up. Then Amy covers the case of Matthew Nolan, Christopher Nolan’s older brother, whose story went viral online as the “fugitive hitman brother named Oppenheimer” rumor. The reality is more complicated, but still absolutely f*****g wild. Matthew allegedly used the alias Matthew Oppenheimer while posing as an heir to the Oppenheimer diamond fortune, got tied to a Costa Rica scheme involving missing money and became connected to the kidnapping and murder of American accountant Robert Cohen. We’re talking fake passports, Interpol red notice, a daughter begging authorities to help her father. And there is, somehow, still no real justice for Robert Cohen. This episode comes with the very clear reminder to respect the dead, research viral claims and maybe don’t invite anything home unless it’s for a friendly coffee.
