Becoming a Parenting Team

Rather than just focusing on differences, we start to see the beauty of who each parent is and what they bring to the table to nurture your child." Deb Fusek on Coparenting as a team. Deb Fusek has been a Mom since 1995 and has raised three children. Two have flown the nest and the youngest is in high school. Deb has faced many parenting struggles over the years such as school issues, sibling rivalry, anger, friend drama, power struggles, and arguing with her dear husband about how to parent. Her family has experienced ADHD, transracial adoption, developmental delays, giftedness, feeding issues, sensory processing disorder, middle child syndrome, trauma, and teen issues. Working in the adoption world gave her the desire to work more deeply with families. This led her to pursue her master’s in leadership and to become a Certified Parent Coach. She founded Ever Parent Coaching to serve parents. Getting Curious About Gender as Modern Parents

Gender is a spectrum and not a binary.''- Rebecca Minor   Rebecca Minor, MSW, LICSW is a queer, Jewish clinician and coach specializing in the intersection of trauma, gender, and sexuality. As a Gender Specialist, Rebecca partners with trans and gender nonconforming youth through their journey of becoming; and is a guide to their parents in affirming it. She also offers coaching for parents and families who are looking for guidance to support their children in their journey of becoming their authentic selves. Rebecca believes in the importance of embracing human diversity and is passionate about partnering with people to cultivate the self-compassion necessary to heal shame, dismantle binaries, and invite opportunities for growth and lasting change. Rebecca is an adjunct professor at Boston University School of Social work and a 200 hour level yoga instructor. She is the host of the AboutCONSENT™ podcast and creator of CONSENTwear™. Rosalia teaches parents, particularly child sexual abuse survivors, how to educate their children on body safety, boundaries, and consent so that they can empower their families to prevent abuse and break intergenerational cycles.
