Joshua: Remembering Miracles
2026/10/26
Today's chapter is all about the power of remembering. In a culture obsessed with innovation and ingenuity, maybe what we need more than a new discovery is to return what we already know, to apply old truths in fresh ways, to remember the miracle of the cross. Together, we reflect on God's instructions to build a memorial marking the miraculous crossing of the Jordan River and the moments in our own lives when we've experienced the power of God.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on October 25th, 2026 We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Joshua: Overcoming Obstacles
2026/10/19
Chapter three chronicles one of the greatest hits in Israel's ancient history, the miraculous crossing of the Jordan River. We explore what it means to be guided by God's presence, to believe in the impossible, and how this story might change how we approach our own obstacles. You'll notice in listening to today's message, there are intentional breaks for conversation...we encourage you to pause your listening when you get to them and reflect on these questions either on your own or with someone you trust: 1) “Why do you think doesn’t God overcome all obstacles for us as easily as he did here?” 2) "What impossible obstacle is between you and the abundant life described in Romans?" This message is from our Sunday morning service on October 18th, 2026 We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Joshua: The Past is Told by Those Who Win
2026/10/12
Joshua was written down from the oral tradition during the Babylonian exile, at a time when the Jewish people needed to remember their national identity and have hope that the future was still ripe with possibility. Today's reading concerns Rahab and the Spies, a famous account that reminds us that God works through unlikely people and in unlikely ways to accomplish his work. It is an account that leaves a lot of questions, but like much of the history that we read and have today, it is informed by knowledge of what comes next, and is told by those that were shaped by it. This message is from our Sunday morning service on October 11th, 2026 We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Joshua: Facing the Future
2026/10/05
Everything is about to change. A new leader has been chosen and a new era begins for the people of Israel. How will Joshua face his future? How do we face our future full of uncertainty, unanswered questions, and the unknown? God reminds us to look back before looking forward and to take courage in his promise to be with us, to never fail us, to never abandon us.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on October 4th, 2026 We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Vision and Values 2026: Selfless + Sincere
2026/09/28
Lindsey explores our last two values selfless and sincere in the final week of this series. We talk about the way people pleasing and unboundaried service is often confused for selflessness and the way performative church culture gets in the way of sincerity and authenticity. We close with an invitation to mark our commitment to these values and our hope for Kindred's future.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on September 27th, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Vision and Values 2026: Safe + Sound
2026/09/21
Kindred is guided by our four values: safe, sound, selfless, and sincere. In this message, Zack analogizes them to wedding vows to express how deeply we hold these promises to our community and that we won't always achieve them perfectly, but we will always be drawn back to them. Jesus is safe and sound, and together we explore what it means for us to be a safe and sound place and what might get in the way of us living into this value. This message is from our Sunday morning service on September 20th, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Vision and Values 2026: There is No "Them"
2026/09/14
Today we revisit the second half of our identity statement, We Belong to Each Other. Together, we explore the question, "Can there be an 'us' without a 'them'"? Belonging to each other is about more than fitting in or protecting sameness, but about the grace of Jesus revealing there is no 'them' and God has no favorites.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on September 13th, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Connect with us: kindredchurch.co @kindredchurch.co facebook.com/kindredchurch.co
Vision and Values 2026: Chaos Theory
2026/09/07
As we approach our sixth anniversary as a church, we lean into the vision, values, and tenets that got us here. Today we explore our tenet, "We Belong to God," in a new way, focusing on how life can work when we are secure in our belonging to our Creator, and how sideways things can get when we forget or don't believe it any longer. By looking at the concept of near and far enemies of belonging, we get a picture of what belonging to God can really mean. This message is from our Sunday morning service on September 6th, 2026. 2 Timothy: Don't Cheat Yourself
2026/08/30
We close our series on 2 Timothy by exploring the metaphor Paul masterfully uses in chapter four of a marathon race. He wants Timothy (and us) to take seriously the task of being people that struggle forward together and that carry each other's burdens. While spiritual junk food, division, politics, and comparison of sin all threaten to break our unity - Paul offers us a better way to run. This message is from our Sunday morning service on August 30th, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. 2 Timothy: You Can't Fake the Fruit
2026/08/24
Paul had warned Timothy in the past about false teachers that are more concerned with gaining influence, wealth, and other ungodly things. Here, he again brings these charlatans to Timothy's attention, while reminding him that the fruit of his life and ministry will be what sets him apart. Like the popular social media trend of "Is It Real or Cake?", we also are faced with the choice daily: will we exhibit the fruit of the spirit or be like so many that choose the fake pursuits? This message is from our Sunday morning service on August 23rd, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. 2 Timothy: Join the Ranks
2026/08/17
We continue our exploration of 2 Timothy by looking at three metaphors Paul explains are crucial for endurance: the soldier, the athlete, and the farmer. With the help of Kindred's own Michael Euperio, we explore what being "a good soldier" really means and discover a wealth of spiritual principles and practical help for making it through desperate times.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on August 9th, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Connect with us: kindredchurch.co @kindredchurch.co facebook.com/kindredchurch.co
2 Timothy: Fan the Flame
2026/08/10
This week we dive into Paul's legacy letter to his prodigy and teammate in ministry, Timothy. He begins this final letter to Timothy with three powerful reminders to live by: remember who you are, don't waste your life, & watch your mouth. Upon this challenge, we explore what it looks like to embrace suffering for the sake of our character and the sake of others.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on August 9th, 2026. We gather at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Connect with us: kindredchurch.co @kindredchurch.co facebook.com/kindredchurch.co
Psalm 22: Answered From the Horns of Unicorns (Josh Beijer)
2026/08/03
Our wise and dear friend, Josh Beijer, takes us on a journey to find the treasure buried within Psalm 22. He gives us helpful tools for approaching these ancient words and brings Scripture to life with incredible pictures and connections. He reminds us of God's power to take what was meant for harm and turn it for good, and the celebration we're invited to get swept up in when God transforms our suffering. This message is from our Sunday morning service on August 2nd, 2026. We meet at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Psalm 63: The Presence of God (Taylor Beijer)
2026/07/27
Our good friend, Taylor Beijer, shares powerfully what comfort Psalm 63 has brought her over the years. She reminds us of God's nearness, that his presence can be found within us, and the invitation to look inward when we find ourselves in seasons of longing and desperation.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on July 26th, 2026. We meet at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Connect with us: kindredchurch.co @kindredchurch.co facebook.com/kindredchurch.co
Psalm 19: The God Who Speaks (Bob Bush)
2026/07/20
Our Board Chairman Bob Bush challenges us with a message of how God speaks to each of us in specific and individual ways, using Psalm 19 to show how God reached him at a critical time in his own life.  This message is from our Sunday morning service on July 19th, 2026. We meet at 957 Main St., Louisville, CO 80027 on Sunday mornings at 10am. Connect with us: kindredchurch.co @kindredchurch.co facebook.com/kindredchurch.co
