The kraken a legendary sea monster of gigantic size, born in Scandinavian folklore.   According to the sailors of yesteryear, the kraken dwells off the coasts of Norway and Greenland and now SEATTLE terrorizing nearby sailors and soon skaters.   In 2021 The National Hockey League will enter Washington state for the first time with the birth of the mighty Seattle Kraken.   The team is built by legendary player/general manager Ron Francis and begins play this October in the pacific division.   They will have a chance to further grow the legend of the mighty kraken with a decent team built off the backs of other NHL teams.   Tonight we talk all things Kraken and hockey in this edition of Hockey Chirps with Those Canadian Lads with  @elindsay08 Erica Ayala of Locked On Kraken a podcast dedicated to everything Kraken.   So let's get Kraken!   Welcome to Episode 38

Welcome back to Those Canadian Lads. After licking our wounds and calming our nerves were back to break down the Edmonton Oilers playoff exit. Are we upset? Are we tired of the same old, same old? Well, our positive outlook may surprise.    Brad goads Geoff into defending the idea of unique NHL seasons resulting in unique results and Geoff gets fired up defending Connor McDavid's lack of Stanley Cup rings.
