Hello everyone, I flew to Oklahoma to talk with Jose and Cassandra Rodriguez, parents of Baby JJ (1 year old at the time of the attack) who was viciously attacked by his neighbors 5 pit bulls. We discuss my initial reaction to the attack and wanting to make the trip to Oklahoma. We discuss the details of the attack and all the events that happened throughout the entire day that media outlets did not cover. We discuss baby JJ's injuries he sustained and where he currently is on his road to recovery. We discuss how the entire family is dealing with this attack and seeking therapy to treat PTSD and survivals guilt. We also discuss their views on not just dogs but pit bulls specifically going forward and and having dogs of their own. Lastly, we discuss silver linings, and being a voice for change in the community and potentially and state legislative level.
