How to Maximize our time.
2025/10/16
At The Show Up Dad Foundation, we often say “time flies,” and I truly feel it in my home. My 19-year-old is busy editing her photography, my 12-year-old is deep into the metaverse, and my 10-year-old is having a blast with Marvel universe characters. In these precious moments, I strive to be present and engaged with my kids. Here are three ways I try to savor our time together: 1. **Engage Fully:** I remind myself to cherish every moment with my 10-year-old. Studying the word of God helps me understand what we owe our children according to scripture. They are a gift from God, and I want to honor that. 2. **Unplug from Technology:** With three kids, life can get hectic. I find that disconnecting from tech leads to more meaningful interactions and allows us to reclaim our time together. 3. **Create Joyful Memories:** Prioritize fun activities, whether it’s a weekend outing, a museum visit, or trying something new together. These shared experiences create lasting memories that we’ll cherish for years to come. To learn more about what God asks us to do as parents, DM us for a free download of our discipleship study on parenting as a ministry. Let’s make the most of our time with our kids!
