Repeated Patterns Need Healing
2026/09/08
Have you ever found yourself repeating the same patterns, even when you know they’re not good for you?
Sometimes we keep returning to familiar situations, relationships, behaviours and emotional responses without understanding why. We may wonder why we keep choosing the same things, reacting in the same ways or finding ourselves in similar situations.
But repeated patterns aren’t always about making bad choices. Sometimes they are connected to experiences, beliefs and coping mechanisms we learned in the past.
In this episode, we explore why we can repeat unhealthy patterns, how our past can influence the way we show up in the present, and why healing requires more than simply telling ourselves to “do better.”
When we begin to understand the root of a pattern, we can start to respond differently.
You are not broken because you keep repeating something.
The pattern may simply be asking to be understood, healed and released. 🤎

Forgiving Yourself to Heal From the Past
2026/09/03
In this episode of the Moyo Wellness Therapy Podcast, we explore the importance of forgiving yourself as part of healing from the past.
Sometimes we carry guilt, shame, regret and self-blame for years, constantly replaying old decisions and wishing we had done things differently.
This episode is about learning to have compassion for the person you were, accepting that you cannot change the past, taking the lessons with you, and giving yourself permission to move forward.
Forgiving yourself doesn’t mean forgetting or avoiding accountability. It means choosing to stop punishing yourself for who you were and allowing yourself to grow into who you are becoming.
Your past is part of your story, but it doesn’t have to control your future. 💛

You Still Have Time 90 Days Left
2026/08/31
There are still 90 days left in the year, and that means you still have time to make progress towards the goals you set for yourself.
Maybe the year hasn’t gone exactly how you planned. Maybe you’ve experienced setbacks, lost motivation, had to start again, or simply got distracted by life.
But you don’t need a perfect year to finish strong.
In this episode, we’ll talk about how to use the next 90 days intentionally — whether your goals are around your health, career, business, finances, relationships, personal growth or healing.
We’ll explore how to:
✨ Revisit the goals that still matter to you
✨ Focus on what you can realistically achieve in 90 days
✨ Stop waiting for the “perfect” time to start
✨ Create small, consistent habits
✨ Let go of what no longer needs your energy
✨ Make a simple plan for the final three months
✨ Give yourself permission to start again
You haven’t missed your opportunity. You still have time.
You don’t need to change your entire life overnight. You just need to decide what matters, take the next step, and keep showing up.
90 days can make a difference. What are you going to do with yours? 💛

Don’t Be Too Hard on Yourself
2026/08/28
We can often give other people grace, patience and understanding — yet expect perfection from ourselves.
In this episode of the Moyo Wellness Therapy Podcast, we’re talking about what happens when we become our own biggest critic and how we can begin treating ourselves with more compassion.
We’ll explore why it’s important to stop comparing our journey to other people’s, allow ourselves to make mistakes, celebrate the small wins, recognise when we genuinely need rest, and focus on progress rather than perfection.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. One difficult day doesn’t erase how far you’ve come, and making a mistake doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
Sometimes healing also means learning to say:
“I’m doing the best I can with where I am right now — and that is enough.” 💛

Things I’ve Learnt as an Adult
2026/08/25
One thing adulthood has taught me is that everybody doesn’t need access to every part of your life.
I’ve learnt that I don’t need to tell everyone my problems. Unfortunately, sometimes the things you share when you’re vulnerable can later be used against you or brought up in ways that make you feel small.
I’ve learnt that even friendship doesn’t automatically mean unlimited access. I can love my friends and still keep certain things private. Not every decision, relationship, struggle or plan needs to be discussed with everybody.
I’ve learnt to be careful about who I seek advice from. Sometimes people advise you from their own fears, experiences and limitations — and their advice may not be right for your life.
I’ve learnt that I don’t always need to explain myself. No can simply mean no. A boundary doesn’t need a ten-minute explanation to make it valid.
I’ve learnt that some things are better protected while they’re still growing. Not everybody needs to know what I’m building before I’ve built it.
I’ve learnt to pay attention to how I feel after spending time with people. Do I leave feeling supported and encouraged or smaller, drained and doubtful of myself?
And I’ve learnt that privacy is not secrecy. I can be authentic without giving everybody access to everything.
Growing up has taught me that protecting my peace sometimes means speaking less, observing more, trusting myself and becoming intentional about who gets access to me.
💭 What is one lesson adulthood has taught you?

DON’T GET DISTRACTED
2026/08/20
In today’s podcast episode, we’re talking about how easy it is to become distracted by the things that aren’t working in our lives and lose sight of everything that is.
Sometimes the distraction isn’t social media or procrastination — it’s worrying about what we can’t control, what hasn’t happened yet, or what we feel is missing.
This episode is your reminder to focus on what you can control, recognise your progress, remember your why and keep building.
Don’t get distracted by what isn’t working. Keep nurturing what is. 💛

What Healing Taught Me 2026
2026/08/17
In this week’s episode of the Moyo Wellness Therapy Podcast, I’m sharing some of the biggest lessons my own healing journey has taught me.
Healing has taught me that I need to choose myself over and over again. I’ve learnt to be more compassionate with myself, to stop feeling guilty for saying no, and to recognise that having boundaries doesn’t make me a bad person.
I’ve also learnt that healing requires balance. Some days I need to get up, show up and keep going even when I don’t feel like it, and other days I need to give myself permission to rest.
Most importantly, I’ve learnt that healing takes time. There is no deadline and no perfect way to heal. Some days we grow, some days we rest, and some days we simply have to choose ourselves again.
💭 What has healing taught you about yourself?

Have We Done Enough?
2026/08/12
Before we give up on something that once mattered to us, sometimes we need to ask ourselves one honest question:
Have I truly done enough?
Have you done enough before giving up on the dream?
Have you done enough before walking away from the goal?
Have you done enough to save the friendship or relationship?
Have you communicated, prayed, asked for help, changed your approach, and genuinely tried?
Sometimes we are not ready to let go — we are simply tired, disappointed, or discouraged.
And sometimes letting go is the right decision.
The important thing is knowing the difference.
God gives us grace through the journey. Grace meets us while we are learning, growing, trying again, and continuing to show up even when things feel difficult.
Before you say, “I’m done,” ask yourself:
Am I making this decision from clarity, or am I making it because I’m exhausted?
Whatever you decide, let it be a decision you can look back on and say:
“I gave it everything I could.”
