In today's episode I touch on being back in work, back playing football and almost having my full routine back. I also talk about a conversation I had with a client recently when he asked me 'how did you find it leaving your job and starting a business?'. This conversation really interested me and got me thinking about my journey from the last 3 years, so I decided to relay the conversation to you guys with a bit of added information. 

A review of the beginning of my 2021, what I've been up to, how I'm going to get through the next few weeks/months and a look forward to better times.

Here's an insight to my experience after dropping out of the game of professional football. I struggled a lot mentally no longer being able to play the game I love for a full time job, but eventually I came to terms with filling my life with things that I want to do, and enjoy doing, on a regular basis. Have a listen to me being completely honest about the struggles that a lot of young, and retired, professional footballers will go through.

As another lockdown hits the UK, I talk about things that have helped me get through the previous 2, what I plan to do in this one and how giving yourself small things to do, can improve your mindset and wellbeing to get through this one as positively as possible. 

In what has been a crazy year, I'm here to focus on the positives rather than the negative aspects of 2020. Everything from furlough to zoom to fitness and diets. Enjoy my light hearted 2020 round up, and a Happy New Year to everyone!

Today, I talk about my career as a footballer openly and honestly, the highs, lows and struggles, the mental side of the game which not many people see or understand. Starting from a young boy all the way through to playing at Wembley, this podcast is as close to home as I can be. 

A fitting introduction to myself based on my current life. Slightly touch on life in football prior to being a barber, but mainly focused on the how and why I chose the career path of becoming a barber, and how I have developed myself and business so far.
