One way to know what your audience wants is to create a community. While there are free tools like Facebook,  you don't own your community in Facebook. I once was banned from my own Facebook groups for letting them know group coaching was starting in 5 minutes. It took WEEKS to regain access (Facebook is now known for their awesome customer service).  When I discovered Heartbeat I was really impressed. I have spoken about Circle in the past, and this was like Circle only less Expensive.  You can have a community with threads and charts. I tied my heartbeat into Zoom for group coaching so people can see the schedule and join right from within the app. There is a water cooler where people can connect via audio to chat. One of the toughest parts of creating content is doing it on a regular basis. Today's tool is called Syllaby. You can use it like an SEO tool and type in the topic for your show and it will show you what people are searching for around this topic. When you click on that topic, you can then choose to have it write a script for you. This can be a short script or an entire article. One of your fears when you start podcasting is, what if you change your mind? What do I do with my gear? You've been podcasting for a while, and you notice that all those files are starting to chew up your hard drive (ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE DOING VIDEO). So today, I have a free resource to start (and eventually, it will be almost free). Backblaze is a service I use to back up computers. I once had a hard drive crash, and they saved me. They also offer a cloud storage option. These are for files that you probably will not use but don't want to delete (I store old YouTube videos, podcast files, etc). The price is 0.005 per GB Currently, my show Your Podcast Consultant has over 100 episodes, and EVERYTHING COMBINE is 23 GB, so I could store that show for 12 cents/month, and if I later wanted to download all those files, it would cost 23 cents.  Their backup tool is also affordable at $5.83 per month if you buy a year's worth of hosting.
