Have you used old wives tales to predict things like gender? If you have, were you right or was it WAY off? There's absolutely no science behind it, so it's all for fun anyway. Permissive, Neglectful, Authoritarian and Authoritative - Which Parenting Styles are most prominent in your day to day? Sarah and Ali dive into the meaning of each style and go over what kinds of behaviours are possibly yeilded in children when using these styles. Also, we get into a word of the day... Parenting Styles vary from person to person and situation to situation, but they all have a few things in common. No matter where you fall, parenting styles are observed on a sliding scale, with high or low support/warmth and high or low expectations. Sarah and Ali complete the quiz live while giving you some insight into their choices. Parenting styles are similar to leadership styles, so if you're curious but maybe don't have too much parenting experience or any at all, don't worry.
