In a now viral video posted by Miranda Derrick's family on February 22nd of this year, it is alleged that Miranda is being exploited and held against her will by a christian cult in Los Angeles. While this is usually the tone parents take when their baby girl makes it big in the city, there are more than a few very questionable behaviors and beliefs within the cult that would leave any parents concerned. The agency behind this cult, 7M films, has close ties to the Shekinah church, one that epitomizes the New Age to Fascist pipeline, as well as close ties to many powerful and decidedly ungodly people. Julius & Ethel Rosenberg were American citizens who were convicted of spying on behalf of the Soviet Union. The couple were convicted of providing top-secret information about radar, sonar, jet propulsion engines and valuable nuclear weapon designs (at that time the United States was the only country in the world with nuclear weapons). Convicted of espionage in 1951, they were executed by the federal government of the United States in 1953 at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining, New York, becoming the first American civilians to be executed for such charges and the first to receive that penalty during peacetime. With the world once again being fated by possible war time, we thought this was a good week to look back at the greatest spy case in american history.

Dorothea Helen Puente lead a long life of hustles, scams, thefts and eventually murder. Using her kindly demeanor to lure in helpless people with charity, only to leave them broke, and sometimes, buried. Poison was her speciality, using  it to pray on the elderly and infirm. She owned the so-called Murderhouse in Sacramento, a building that still stands today, that Dorothea operated as halfway house for the homeless and mentally ill. Living off of her victims pensions and social security checks, Puente hid in plain sight, with many authorities, and even her jury, buying her old lady gimmick. Was she set up? Barney and Betty Hill were an American couple who claimed they were abducted by extraterrestrials in a rural portion of the state of New Hampshire from September 19 to 20, 1961. It was the first widely publicized report of an alien abduction in the United States. Not dissimilar from the story of our beloved Travis Walton, these to spent time about a glowing ship, but they alleged to have come back with memories and instructions only accessible via hypnosis only.

Since his arrival into the realm of celebrity, Andrew WK has been shrouded by mystery. Accusations that he was an industry plant, a tool of Scientology or even a government psy-op all center around the messianic man in white, but the biggest is that he may in fact be someone else entirely, or at least not himself. Some say WK was replaced in the early oughts for a more agreeable actor, later resurfacing under the alias Steev Mike. Steev Mike is a producer for WK, and is the Tony Clifton to WKs Andy Kaufman, an alias with more hatred for Andrew than he has proof of his own existence. Ted Kaczynski is an American hero, ecoterrorist, and former mathematics professor. He was a mathematics prodigy, but abandoned his academic career in 1969 to pursue a primitive life. Between 1978 and 1995, he killed three people and injured 23 others in a nationwide bombing campaign against people he believed to be advancing modern technology and the destruction of the environment. The Hinterkaifeck murders occurred on the evening of March 31, 1922, in which six inhabitants of a small Bavarian farmstead, located approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Munich, Germany, were murdered by an unknown assailant. The six victims were Andreas Gruber (63) and Cäzilia Gruber (72); their widowed daughter Viktoria Gabriel (35); Viktoria's children, Cäzilia (7) and Josef (2); and the maid, Maria Baumgartner (44). They were all found struck dead. The perpetrator (or perpetrators) lived with the six corpses of their victims for three days. The murders are considered one of the most gruesome and puzzling unsolved crimes in German history. Prior to the murders, the previous maid quit claiming the house was haunted, could that be what led to these grisly and puzzling killings? There are many theories and suspects, from farmhands looking to make a fortune to Victoria's husband, presumed dead and out for revenge. Today, we explore them all!

On the night of September 28th, 1978, newly minted PopeJohn Paul I died of unexplained causes, suddenly. Claimed to be a heart attack, the Vatican would not have an autopsy conducted citing (incorrectly) tradition. Many, including ourselves, think something more sinister as at play. Many high ranking Vatican officials were embroiled in a scandal that would come to light after the Pope's untimely death, a scandal that would indicate those officials could have been behind John Paul's passing. A scandal by the way, that involved funneling money to the Contras in South America to fight communism alongside the CIA, and old friend of the show, Barry Seal.
