Fr. Scott Garno, was born and raised (with a 10-year hiatus in N.C.) in the small Upstate NY city of Ogdensburg. He was baptized, confirmed, and raised up for ordination from St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ogdensburg. Fr. Garno graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and went on to complete a B. A. at SUNY Potsdam. Following graduation from Potsdam (and a year working in the Capital District), Fr. Garno attended and graduated with an M.Div. from Trinity School for Ministry, in Ambridge, PA.Fr. Garno came to St. Stephen’s in May 2017 after 11 fruitful years of ministry at St. Matthew’s, Unadilla, and St. Paul’s, Franklin. During those years he helped lead St. Matthew’s through two devastating floods, revitalized old ministries and started new ones, and worked for 3 years as the Spiritual Care Coordinator for Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County.Fr. Scott has a passion for Jesus and for preaching and teaching the Word of God. He is a long-time advocate of healing ministry and has been involved in Diocesan Youth Ministry since before he was even ordained. Fr. Scott has been married to his beautiful wife Sarah for almost 14 years and they are the parents of 4 children: Josiah (with the Lord), Sam, Maria, and Toby.

Deacon Helene Patterson, of Schuylerville, was ordained a deacon on January 24, 2021 at the Cathedral of All Saints. She is currently is finishing up her Deacon formation and completing an internship at Grace Church in Waterford. She has been assigned to serve at St Stephen’s in Schuylerville when she completes her formation.

Fr. Tom Papazoglakis serves as Rector of St. George’s Church along with his wife, Mtr. Elizabeth Papazoglakis who is the Associate Rector. Fr. Tom graduated from Louisiana State University with Bachelor of Architecture in 1978, receiving his architectural license and NCARB certification in 1981. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tulane University.Fr. Tom left his career in the design and construction industry to attend seminary at Nashotah House Seminary in Nashotah, WI. He received a Master of Divinity in 2002 and was ordained to the diaconate in 2001. He was ordained priest in 2002. He served as Associate Priest at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church in Pewaukee, WI, before being called as Priest-in-Charge in 2003. He left this position in 2012, spending two months in Cairo, Egypt while on sabbatical and as a guest of the Episcopal Diocese of Egypt.Fr. Tom was called as Rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in 2013 where he served until being called with Mtr. Elizabeth as Priests-in-Charge of St. George’s in November 2015. Fr. Tom was called as Rector of St. George's in March 2017. Fr. Tom is a Doctor of Ministry student at Nashotah House Seminary and anticipates graduation in 2021.Fr. Tom and Mtr. Elizabeth have been married 40+ years and have three grown daughters, Erika, Niki (Joe), and Sarah (Boris). They have three grandchildren, Ainslie, Aidan, and Ashton.

The Very Reverend Neal P. Longe began his ministry at St. Ann's on January 1, 2012. Prior to being called to serve at St. Ann's, Father Neal was the associate priest at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Colonie, NY. He also served a one year Deacon internship at Christ Church, Schenectady prior to his ordination as a priest. Fr. Neal was born and raised in Johnstown, NY not far from St. Ann's, and sponsored for ordination by St. John's, Johnstown.In November 2013, Fr. Neal was appointed by Bishop Love to serve as the Dean of the Western Mohawk Deanery. He also serves as a member of, and Secretary for, the Board of Trustees of the Diocese. Bishop Love has also appointed Fr. Neal to serve as a member of the advisory board for Christ the King Center in Greenwich and Priest-in-charge for St. Peter's by the Lake Summer Chapel in Old Forge. In addition to these ministry responsibilities, Fr. Neal also serves as a Deputy Fire Coordinator - Chaplain with the Montgomery County Fire Service and Office of Emergency Management, as well as Chaplain to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Amsterdam Fire Department, Amsterdam Police Department, and the Capital District Fraternal Order of Police.Fr. Neal and his wife Lisa have been married for fifteen years and they have two children Maria (age 14) and Noah (age 12). Fr. Neal holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD and a Diploma in Anglican Studies from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA . He also holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education and Psychology from the Crane School of Music College at Potsdam, as well as an Associates degree in Nursing from Fulton-Montgomery Community College at Johnstown, NY. Fr. Neal is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the Emergency Department, the Intensive Care Unit, and Occupational Health. He also enjoys training in Taekwon-Do and was promoted to third degree black belt (III Dan) in November 2019.

I am a retired priest and missionary to Peru. Ordained in England in 1975, I am married to Polly. We have two adult children and live in SE Vermont. After returning from the mission field I served at Cambridge, NY, for two years. I continue to visit Peru on a regular basis.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, Fr. Bill Hinrichs is a graduate of the University of Denver (B.S. in business administration), Nashotah House (M. Div) and Drew University (D.Min.)He has served parishes in Colorado (Littleton, Pueblo and Cortez) and in New York (Massena, Clifton Park, Duanesburg and Cohoes.) He and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 40 years and have two children and four grandchildren.

Mother Elizabeth Papazoglakis serves as Associate Rector of St. George’s Church with her husband, Fr. Tom Papazoglakis who is the Rector of St. George's. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds a Master of Arts degree from Nicholls State University in Psychological Counseling. Mtr. Elizabeth worked as a Psychological Associate for a residential facility and had a private counseling practice, specializing in issues of marriage and family, prior to entering seminary.She received her Master of Arts in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology in Hales Corner, WI. She was ordained Deacon in 2009 and Priest in 2010 in the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee. She served as Curate and then Associate to the Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, from 2010 to 2013. Mtr. Elizabeth graduated from Nashotah House Seminary in 2020 with a Doctor of Ministry.In 2013, Mtr. Elizabeth was called as Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Massena, NY. Mtr. Elizabeth and Fr. Tom Papazoglakis accepted a call to St. George’s to serve as Priests-in-Charge beginning All Saints Day, November 1, 2015. She was appointed Associate Rector in March 2017.Mtr. Elizabeth and Fr. Tom have been married 40+ years and have three grown daughters, Erika, Niki (Joe), and Sarah (Boris). They have three grandchildren, Ainslie, Aidan, and Ashton.

Meaghan has been involved in many types of ministry since college, including youth ministry and leading Bible study. In 2015, she felt the call to ordained ministry and after two years began the discernment process for Holy Orders. She began seminary through the Trinity School for Ministry distance learning program in January of 2019 and was also appointed Lay vicar of St. Paul’s church in Greenwich. Meaghan was ordained a transitional deacon in March 2020 and as a priest on November 15, 2020. She was also installed as Rector of St. Paul’s, Greenwich during that service.Additionally, Meaghan works as the Communications and Business Officer for the Episcopal Diocese of Albany. Her tasks include website design and upkeep, diocesan-wide publications and e-blasts, serving as the liaison with the Church Pension Group, and assists parishes with the parochial report process.
